lildave3 Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Watched the first game and loved it, despite wanting Lakers to win. Now watching the second and the Celtics are cruising to it. I'm not usually a regular watcher of this but i've been very impressed with it so far. Rajon Rondo looks the business. Looks like Boston will take this now to lead 2-0, I just hope Kobe turns it on in the next few games. Anybody else watching this series?
Samu Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Yup I'm watching it! I watched the first game at ESPN Zone in Times Square New York and loved it. I still think this series will go the distance, I think it the Lakers will win in 7. As good as Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are, Kobe on his day takes some stopping! I just hope the next few games are exciting!

Samu Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Wow 4 point game with just over a minute left. This game just got very, very exciting. The Lakers were down by 24 only a few mins ago and have closed the gap. Could be a little bit closer than I anticipated! I'm pretty sure that the Celtics have home court advantage as they had the best regular season record in the league.

Looking forward to the next game now.
Samu Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I think the next 2 games are in LA, and Boston aren't great on the road, so I think the Lakers might well win the next couple of games.
Lovejoy Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Does Lamar Odom still play for the Lakers? It's been a while since I followed NBA properly .

Koke Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Paul Pierce is the dogs bollocks. 2-0 to Boston and I'm very pleased. I cant believe though the Celtis were about to **** up a 95-71 lead

Rando had 16 assists last night, and plus 2 blocks and 1 steal. He looks the real deal. The Celtis will win this badboy though.

C-man Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I gave up my interest in the NBA when Kevin Garnett left the Minnesota Timberwolves for the Celtics. It doesn't suprise me they're in the finals 'cos he is awesome.
Lovejoy Posted 10 June 2008 Posted 10 June 2008 Is it true Phoenix swapped Shawn Marion for Shaq ? Good as Shaq USED to be, Shawn Marion was awesome for the Suns with Steve Nash and Stoudemire. When I was well into NBA the Suns were so good to watch.

When I was well into NBA the Suns were so good to watch. Their line-up consisting Marion, Stoudamire and Nash were pretty deadly. Always invovled in high scoring games. They should've kept Marion, and on top of that they would have a fit Grant Hill as well. 'mon the Celtis tonight. You can't **** up a 2-0 lead.

lildave3 Posted 10 June 2008 Author Posted 10 June 2008 I hope Celtis do them 4-0 Can't happen. ... I hope.

DBEightyFive Posted 11 June 2008 Posted 11 June 2008 Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett certainly weren't at there best in Game 3 - hope they pick it up in Game 4 Here we go Celtics here we go!!
