Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 I can see why people like him, it's a backlash against what people perceive as political correctness (even though I'm not convinced such a thing exists outside the world of shit newspapers), and they like his 'if you don't like it, don't go along with it' attitude, which is probably why he's so popular with young people at the moment, but this is the exact reason I think he's a cock. I'd be lying if I said he's never said something that made me laugh, but the arrogance of the man is insufferable. The ultimate expression of the bullheaded cluelessness he exhibits was that time he had his bank account details published in a newspaper to prove that the threat of identity theft has been overblown, and someone then set up a direct debit to a charity with them - I certainly laughed at that. Im happy if it gets me from A to B, which isnt very often, , but ive read a couple of his books "The World According To Clarkson" & "The World According To Clarkson Part 2", both of which had me in stitches, so im in the "He's ok" category. I'm not that interested in cars but I think the cars are a side issue now, it's the banter between Clarkson/May/Hammond that is what I watch it for. Also the challenges they do are classic. As for Clarkson, I think he's ok but if any of them left TG just wouldn't be the same.

Very True.... even May who is the newest guy is too much of the furniture to leave now. Anyone else who came in would just be trying to be funny and it wouldnt work!!
