Our best player yesterday in my opinion. Set up both goals.

thats the thing a lot of people dont realise...he has set up numerous goals for the team. Yes, it is a shame he doesnt score as much as he should but at the end of the day aslong as he is playing like he is and were top of the league then im happy. :)

He's a poor man's Emile. Scores fuck all but helps Fryatt score a billion. I'm very tired, this is my simple view on the world.

To be fair though, there's no real reason for him not scoring either as he's been prolific at this level before. I suppose he's not getting any younger and his style of play has changed. Either way whilst he's setting up goals and giving Fryatt the limelight, he's a very valuable player for us.

I thought Dyer set up the first? But his contribution to the 2nd was brilliant.

Yeah looking at the highlights, Dyer got the final pass in, but Howard was involved in some great work before that. And like you say, his header for the second goal was superb.

I remember being annoyed that Lloyd had nikced it away just as Steve was coming in to lash it home lol

Howard certainly seemed to appreciate the songs for him before kick off, seemed to give him a bit of confidence during the match. Hope he gets a goal soon though, because is Fryatt's form does dry up it will leave us with a problem.
