It wasnt a long ball. was a through pass in the air. and my keeper passed it to you, for your first goal. and for your second goal i ran past the ball.

Apart from a few optical touches to the players' appearances and some minor adjustments to AI, I can't really spot a big difference compared to last year's version. It plays exactly the same and feels exactly the same way. "Be A Pro" might be a nice addition, but I don't see the point in it, really.Last year, the choice was obvious, as PES 2008 was a mess and played like an early 90ies arcade game. This year, however, I'm disappointed that EA didn't really improve more about their football flagship. The menues look crap, with fonts too small and overcrowded with information - or maybe I need an HD Ready TV to fully appreciate its graphic glory??? Nah, better off playing NHL 09. It's just that they got rid of none of the problems, so little freedom compared to Pro Evo, and some of the slide "tackles" are ridiculous.

MC Prussian Posted 14 January 2009 Posted 14 January 2009 Is it just me or does the AI usually give a 150 percent in the first half, only to be totally powered out comes the second half? Normally, I have frustrating experiences during the first 45 minutes, where nothing seems to work and I'm mostly running after the opposing players...
