Ricey Posted 14 April 2005 Posted 14 April 2005 How have Leeds managed to get 93,000! There must be some kind of cheating method going on there.
Scow Posted 14 April 2005 Posted 14 April 2005 How have Leeds managed to get 93,000! There must be some kind of cheating method going on there. 92944 Definitely. Dirty Leeds. Nothing ever changes...
Mad Dog Posted 15 April 2005 Posted 15 April 2005 To be fair, if the announcer at the Walkers had said to do this two weeks ago, we'd probably have an extra 10,000 people doing it every day from work. all it needs to be done is give out the txt msg number / internet site at half time and we'd rake in the votes.
foxilescom Posted 15 April 2005 Author Posted 15 April 2005 I have had 1 email from the club asking me to enter, and its been mentioned a little bit on the official website. Seems some clubs and fans want this more than others, everytime I post on another site, I get a lot of flack from it, the latest being somebody advising me to "get medical help ! ", this for trying to help my club. The Foxes Trust have been positive about this competition from the beginning , which I applaud, as have many people on here. But it does make me wonder why I bother when it gets me flack. Has there been a mention obout the competition in the club programme ?. If we dont win this, I hope the prize goes to one of the smaller clubs that have made a big effort, maybe an Oxford or Bournmouth.
Scow Posted 15 April 2005 Posted 15 April 2005 Why are you getting flak though? I'm a bit baffled by that.
foxilescom Posted 15 April 2005 Author Posted 15 April 2005 Is it un cool to try and do something positive, much easier and more fun just to put the boot in ? I find this board much friendlier
Solihullfox Posted 15 April 2005 Posted 15 April 2005 Just voted - we are now 11th - 7 votes ahead of Burnley.
Foxes_Trust Posted 15 April 2005 Posted 15 April 2005 Foxes Trust - Can you post an article on the site encouraging support? 92485 We will do an updated story & publish on Monday. We did run a story in the early days of the competition & there is a small panel on our website which we hope visitors read & utilise. We have also e-mailed our membership to ask them to take part a few weeks ago. Also we plan fresh rallying calls when the season is over, fans may switch off then, but the entries can be made each day until late May
Foxes_Trust Posted 15 April 2005 Posted 15 April 2005 Is it un cool to try and do something positive, much easier and more fun just to put the boot in ? 93102 We know that feeling all too well
Bert Posted 18 April 2005 Posted 18 April 2005 just voted, we're in 11th place but we're 1,022 votes behind Bournemouth who are 10th
Stuliasz Posted 18 April 2005 Posted 18 April 2005 Is it un cool to try and do something positive, much easier and more fun just to put the boot in ? 93102 We know that feeling all too well 93448 I think the Foxes Trust probably does a lot of good work behind the scenes, but perhaps the Leicester fans need it to be made more public. I have hardly heard about a thing that the Trust has done but I have faith that they are doing good for the club, that's what they are there for.
foxilescom Posted 18 April 2005 Author Posted 18 April 2005 Where did Ipswich come from in 12th ?, must have had some major publicity ? Please enter for City again today at http://www.coca-colafootball.co.uk/
Scow Posted 21 April 2005 Posted 21 April 2005 http://www.leicestercity-mad.co.uk/news/lo...=TMNW&id=218252 I've tried my best to encourage support again. We're 1,241 behind Bournemouth, and only 112 ahead of Ipswich. Leeds have got 115,516.
TrickyTrev Posted 22 April 2005 Posted 22 April 2005 We are doing quite well really, not far behind Forrest and Derby and pretty much the same chance of winning as them. As they hace similar fanbases it is difficult to complain about our position on the list.
Solihullfox Posted 22 April 2005 Posted 22 April 2005 Just voted - Ipswich only 60 behind with Celtic not far back from them, get voting !
