Jaspa Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 i need to get some new headphones for my iphone, because the stock white ones are barely average. and i carnt get any because its got a sunk jack, so normal ones wont go in!
Finchy Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 That's the problem with the iPhone 2g. They make the sh*ttest headphones ever and you have to have them because no other headphones will fit in! You're just gonna have to get a new pair of standard Apple headphones.
Jaspa Posted 18 August 2008 Author Posted 18 August 2008 You're just gonna have to get a new pair of standard Apple headphones. ive already got some, just their starting to rattle, and there f-in sheet anyway
MC Prussian Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 There's already a thread on the uber-cool Sennheiser earphones (various): http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=51053 One pair of these and you don't want to go back. Ever.
Jaspa Posted 18 August 2008 Author Posted 18 August 2008 yh yh, ive seen that, but its because the iphone wont take them, the jack is dug in, so apple can make sure people buy there headphones for it .

Nick Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Upgrade to the 3g? This phone takes regular headphone socket. If your phone was insured and you dropped it, smashing it up completely or had it taken, would the insurers replace it with a 3g model with a larger headphone socket? Just asking.

If your phone was insured and you dropped it, smashing it up completely or had it taken, would the insurers replace it with a 3g model with a larger headphone socket? Just asking. Isn't the older iPhone supposed to take regular headphone jacks? That is, after shaving off the rubber thing around the plug with a sharp object. The new 3G has a tinier plug and you need an adaptor for that one. Or am I mistaken?
Daggers Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Sennheiser has a range designed just for the recessed jack of the iTsCrap - search Amazon.
James. Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Move over CX300's, my CX500's are staggeringly good.

Finchy Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 well ive unlocked mine to all networks, so i dont have to get conned a minimum off £35 quid a month, so if i take it back to the shop they wont exchange I don't think it's that bad, i get 600 minutes and 500 texts for £35 a month on my iPhone, plus free unlimited internet, which is worth the extra cash by itself!

Yh, but when youve already spent £200 on a phone, you dont want to pay a further £420 a year on it, especialy when ive got the tzones hack, wi-fi, and a genie sim inside

I like the sound of this free internet - is this O2? ive got the tzones hack, wi-fi, and a genie sim inside Come again?
Finchy Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 I like the sound of this free internet - is this O2? yeah it's the O2 iPhone contract. All iPhone customers get free unlimited internet, and they all get free access to BT Openzone and The Cloud Wi Fi Hotspots which are all over the country, so just about every major city you can get access to free WiFi. It's amazing Although O2 can't really get away with not giving you unlimited internet, because loads of the iPhone's features need a connection.
Jaspa Posted 18 August 2008 Author Posted 18 August 2008 Come again? The tzone hack lets me get free internet in certain places, the genie sim gives me a load off free credit, so i dont need to pay extausionate prices.
Daggers Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 yeah it's the O2 iPhone contract. All of a sudden I'm interested in an iPhone. I always got a good signal with O2 as opposed to this stupid 3 contract I have. Hmm... The tzone hack lets me get free internet in certain places, the genie sim gives me a load off free credit, so i dont need to pay extausionate prices. Aha. Sounds naughty - I'm sure Phube wouldn't approve
