The People's Hero Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I used to have a fairly large account with a certain third party finance provider, which I used to fund insurance premiums for clients who wanted to pay in installments (whilst creaming a hell of a lot off the top). In return, they'd pay a commission to the company and also some 'loyalty points' to me, which I could redeem against a range of products (not particularly wide range though). Said finance provider have now gone in to administration and I've been advised by the third party products provider people that I should spend my points NOW. I've had a quick look and the best thing my points can buy is a Sony Giga Juke Back to electrical productsProduct Code: SONYNAS 2754ptsAdd to WishlistAdd to Basket Sony NAS-E35HD Buy now! What does the activity include? Sonys Micro HiFi with built in 80GB hard drive (store upto 15,000 songs) 30W x 2 RMS, iPod dock, up to 4 x speed CD ripping, USB Playback (MP3/WMA/AAC) Which apparently (at 2754 points) should be worth about £275.40 Does anyone on here have one? Are they any good?

Are they any good? That sounds highly illegal. I will trader you your Giga Juke for a plane ticket to Cuba.
Monk Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I'll give you a packet of Steak McCoys for said Juke. What else can you get?
The People's Hero Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 I could have a Mark Robinson Game Cookery Class.
Tabou Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Illegal in what way? I'm not sure. I was just trying to wangle myself a Sony Giga puke duke. I also have enough airmiles to buy a plane ticket to somwhere remotely distant. Seemed like a good trade.
The People's Hero Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 I can get myself quite a lot of wine - but the wine looks pretty naff and they are valuing the case quite high. Depending on what Daggers says - the Giga Juke could be a go-er.

Get the wine! Then you can drink it, and reminisce about that time you almost got your hands on a shiney new Sony Giga Juke. It will be terribly romantic.
The People's Hero Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 Daggers, you were reading this??? WHY NO ANSWER? Put my out of my 'loyalty point' induced misery? Question? ? . ,
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 As the non-duly appointed unofficial spokesperson for Daggers, I would like to say... are you sure there's nothing better to get?
The People's Hero Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 As the non-duly appointed unofficial spokesperson for Daggers, I would like to say...are you sure there's nothing better to get? I spent most of my points a while back on some wine (drank), a sat-nav (girlfriend lost the old one) and a digital camera (which I've never used).
Jay Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 It looks all right a bit pointless in terms of the ripping things if you already have a computer/laptop and all that but it's free so you can't really argue imo I would suggest if there is nothing else that stands out then go for it what you got to lose? I believe you can also connect it to a laptop or computer and so it could well be a nice little stereo for you I would go for it!! if you don't like it stick it on EBAY for £200 and then spend it on what you want and I see you can upload from a computer to the hard drive all your tunes which sounds pretty good to me

If I don't like it, I'll send it to you (with hefner pre-loaded).

Can't you spend your points on a new girlfriend? I'd never forgive her for loosing teh Sat Nav. My old girlfriend lost her virginity. Bloody women.

Tabou Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 The fact I finally had something worthwhile to spend some points on softened the blow a little bit. So would a blowjob. I know what I'd rather have. (Sony Giga Juke)
The People's Hero Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 Tabou - do you still dabble in the occasional hot woman?
Tabou Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Tabou - do you still dabble in the occasional hot woman? Well, technically no. I'm very happily married (Not literally, but you know). But they're is this one girl at work who I would properly pork. Some women as just plain beautiful!

But they're is this one girl at work who I would properly pork. Some women as just plain beautiful! That there is an oxymoron. The first of the day! You probably could pork her - she wouldn't see you as a threat so you could 'sneak in' unnoticed and do the business then afterwards write it all off as a mistake and a simple misunderstanding. Those would be my tactics.

Those would be my tactics. It wouldn't be too hard. Whilst not a slut, she does have a tendancy to have a tickle at Christmas Parties. Filthy Mare.

Those would be my tactics. There's too much thought in your porking my friend, the SIngh's tactic would be to pork her first and worry about the consequences afterwards!!!!!!!!
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2008 Author Posted 11 September 2008 Apparently, this Giga Juke has turned up at my mum's place. I'm headed over there shortly - so I'll let you know.
Tabou Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Apparently, this Giga Juke has turned up at my mum's place.I'm headed over there shortly - so I'll let you know. Put it on Ebay.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2008 Author Posted 11 September 2008 I'm gumtree/ebay-ed out for the time being. This thing isn't worth much so I might just keep hold of it if it's any good - I've always used my 360 as a stereo, which isn't ideal, as it just plays through my tv speakers which are sh it.
