I just found it really unrealistic when they were showing the matches () and I didn't think it worked well being a comedy at all. They should have tried to make it like a proper show and attempted some realism. I mean it was always obvious the guys kid would come on and score so his team won I mean everything was just... crap

It was trying waaay to hard to be like a documentary, trying to do what Ricky Gervais does perfectly in The Office and it turned out more like The Office US, just so obviously scripted. The show isn't an original idea. It's based on a Canadian show called The Tournament (football being replaced with ice hockey).

No it's not, it's a pathetic excuse for a comedy, the guy isn't funny at all. Sh*ttest thing since Bo Selecta END OF The show isn't an original idea. It's based on a Canadian show called The Tournament (football being replaced with ice hockey). It's not the idea i think is bad, it could have been very good. It's the acting, they are trying to make it look like a realistic documentary, like they do in The Office, but the actors aren't good enough and they make it seem too obviously scripted to get the effect they want.

Say Bo' Selecta is poor again and I'll blow a fuse. And I see what you mean about the idea, but I think once we've seen the likes of Gervais et al perfect this style of comedy nothing else will come close. I reckon it might be a grower.

Craig David on Tour was fooking brilliant. It's just a shame that when Francis became famous, "celebrities" wanted in on the action. That killed it.
