Milans Foxes Posted 30 August 2008 Posted 30 August 2008 Sorry, but you're all talking rubbish! Pearsons got it spot on again. I don't think Adams is ready yet for a run in the first team. He's not done enough in his few appearances so far in the cup and in pre-season. By leaving Gradel on the bench, he has got a great plan B in case it doesn't go well in the first half, like at Fulham. We can always bring Gradel on and shift Dickov up front if we are losing/drawing at the break and attack their tired defenders. Gradel will simply not be as effective in away games from the start because he will be marked out of the game and frustrated into being booked as we saw at Stockport. Pearson's seen that and reacted accordingly. The plan B almost worked to perfection on Wednesday with Gradel and Dickov combining in the second half to get two goals. Lets hope it works today.
