General Smuts Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 The 6 of us (Kilworth, Ched, Damo, Potter, LD3 and myself) nearly broke the wooden seats, classic. Loved it.
Kilworthfox Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Loved it when that lad belted the ball, just pure exuberance. I even got shirtless in excitement on the back row... Same as
Fosse Boy Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Same as Bet those three girls on the balcony of that flat in the corner were loving it!
Kilworthfox Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Bet those three girls on the balcony of that flat in the corner were loving it! Lucky Bastards
Aeropars Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Come on lads... think about the entire situation.... Its against the rules, it 'could' cause a problem health and safety wise and more importantly, it coudl cause our club a financial fine. Everyone knows the rules about this and i know its all done with good intentions, it doesnt take much to escalate into a riot. If that happens away at milwall or something then it could go nuts. You dont need to be on the pitch to celebrate in style.

You kind of contradict what your saying - If something is done with good intentions, how is it going to start a riot?! They don't deserve to be banned really though. The best thing to do is for the stewards to just push them back into the stand. I can control myself, so i'd never run onto the pitch if we scored. Mainly because its an arrestable offence! I thought the way in which they took away one guy was a bit harsh, grabbing both his hands above his head. Looked v harsh.

Dont get me wrong.. i'm not saying that if it does happen then the authorities conduct themselfs correctly but if you dont do it then you dont get arrested, like you say. My point is that our fans woudl know its ood intensions, but the oppositions fans dont. They coudl see it as intimidation or provocation and there coudl be a mass brawl which noone wants. Thats my point. I'm not wanting to point fingers but at the end of the day its a game... is i really worth a night in a cell and a criminal record? Common sense prevails.. it has to. Cue the childish insults.. i can take them
Guest Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 I like the fact that they choose to take action for fans invading the pitch, but then ignore the people drinking alcohol in view of the pitch (also an offence) from the balconies of the flats.

That'd be ****ing hilarious if the stewards marched up to their door and told them to stop drinking !!

There was a chap 3 rows infront of me quite happily drinking cans of carling throughout the game
