Ozwin Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 There's a temporary job delivering leaflets for a gym going and it's for 6 weeks at £6 an hour. It's something and there's no experience required. I want to ring up but don't to know what I need to ask. It's only delivering leaflets but I want the job and don't want to seem like I'm not interested. Yes, this will be my first actual job aswell >_>

If they don't take the initiative and tell you how, ask them if they have an application form or if you should just bring in a CV.
Ozwin Posted 30 September 2008 Author Posted 30 September 2008 Would it really require a CV, I mean it's only posting leaflets around. And it requires no experience so that sort of makes the CV void. The ads been up for a few days now so I doubt anyone's applied for it either.

Do you pay overtime or is it just a flat rate? Do I work on my own or in a team? Is this full time or temp? When do you interview? When are you looking to start people for work? Do you need any more people? Will you give me a finders fee for people you take on? Do I get a % of sales based on my delivering? Any more help? Ozwin Posted 30 September 2008 Author Posted 30 September 2008 I have my CV and I suppoe it could be better. I don't have much experience so I've gone on about my skills and stuff mainly. You could have a look at let me know what you think I suppose?
Tabou Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Well I don't have the best Cardio Vascular fitness, but I still have a job. So I would say that CV is not really needed. Unhealthy people get jobs too. Oh.

You've been dual-accounting - you dirty dog!

Daggers Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Questions to ask at interview: How much do I get? How much? Fuck off - can have more than that? How many sick days do I get? I have a six month speed-walking tour of Tibet booked - can I take that as paid holiday? Does it matter if I turn up pissed? Can I pretend to do the job but throw the leaflets away? What are the promotion prospects? Do you offer training programs? Is there a company car? Right, I'll tell you where I am, I'm interested sure - but the money still isn't good enough. Can you up it even more?
