I pay for the domains but I get the reseller hosting for free for helping out with support at Veal Host, who pay for their own server.

Well it is a personal reseller so whatever you want.

But the default package that can be altered etc. is 500 MB of space and 5000 mb of BW

Excuse my ignorance but what would that allow you to do with respect to say music or videos? How much could you load onto it and viewing capability.

It all depends on how many people would be using it. Would it be so people could download them, view/listen to them or for personal use to keep a backup of your files?

But even so that would be kinda small so I'd probably give you around 2000mb and 5000bw

I'm thinking it's for MrsG to put her music on with perhaps the odd video, it would be for people to listen but whether she'd get many visitors is a unknown world.

What about domain name would it be a sub name?

It would be a sub name unless you purchased your own domain.

DB howcome you chose not to keep a set house-style on your RA websites? i ask because i have always been taught to keep a set House-style as then people associate that style with 1- The RA in your area 2- They will associate such style's with yourself therefore making you become better known as a web developer.
