Bert Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Still a long way off. Seeing the specialist next week, has something called a "bone edema" which is "like a bruise in the middle of the bone" which means he can't run, as it'll probably lead to a stress fracture. Bone edema's usually come from a different injury.

Kishishev is an option but he is just an old grandad to be fair . On a side note, why is Elvis Hammond still on our squad list on the os?
JoeyB Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Can we not just get rid of him? He'll be on a decent wage, and put it this way he isn't exactly great ::
lildave3 Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 That doesn't sound very good at all for the lad.
Jimmy Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Source? try looking on the OS and having a LCFCWorld account
DB11 Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 try looking on the OS and having a LCFCWorld account Ye I know and I have an LCFC World account. Jeez some people
Jam Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 come on hurry up and bring the REAL CAPTAIN BACK........
Corky Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Can we not just get rid of him? He'll be on a decent wage, and put it this way he isn't exactly great :: That will really motivate him to come back won't it? I believe he still has a role to play for us, maybe as a bit-part player. Last season he wasn't great but who was? If Pearson can turn Fryatt and Howard round there is no reason to suggest he can't do the same with Clemence.

Munzie Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Listening to what he says...he could be out for some time. Can't run on it and not sure what is causing it?!? Don't expect him back anytime soon. Could it be career ending?

CKB Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Doesn't sound to good for the bloke! i really have doubts if he will ever play for us again
Munzie Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 At 30 years old, he has the capacity to come back from injury, no doubt. I've never heard of this problem - bruising within a bone. Given the length of time he has been out and still not being able to find the route cause does worry me however. I do think that he can still be a vital member of our squad. Let's hope they sort this out soon.
