Jimmy Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 DB spend a few years playing in goal then try and tell me what makes a good keeper
DB11 Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 !Where were you sitting then Mr. Stig? "We've never had a good keeper since we got rid of Kevin Pressman." I thought that made it seem it was sarcastic DB spend a few years playing in goal then try and tell me what makes a good keeper I did. I was shit so I took up refereeing
syston_fox Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 I did. I was shit so I took up refereeing So what will you take up next?
DBEightyFive Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 I had an absolutely perfect view of the goal, it was unsaveable!! Not even Buffon, or Van Der Sar, or Cech or whichever top class keepers there are in the world could ever have saved that shot. Inch perfect in the right angle between post and bar.
The Stig Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 !Where were you sitting then Mr. Stig? At the time of the goal I was standing in the canteen at work trying to get Radio Leicester! I didn't go. It was a sarcastic post and Danny to agree with my mickey take point about him being the worst keeper we've ever had is madness. He's an average keeper, he's young and could get better though. With that particualr goal he didn't stand a chance, so stop nit picking. Yes he's made some mistakes but now people are critisising him for the hell of it. Don't forget he's made some good saves this year too. It would be nice to see Paul Henderson get a chance as he had a solid start to the season.

Sooper Steve's shin Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 Thanks for posting those. I read in one of the Sunday papers that Howard scored from Lloyd Dyer's free kick and their goal was a direct free-kick! Just goes to show, you shouldn't believe what you read!
Fox92 Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 DB don't talk shit he would never of gotten any where near it so whether he "made an effort" or not is irrelevant, as for the comment about crosses, do you seriously think Henderson would of done better, if anything he is WORSE then Martin at dealing with aerial balls, because for a start he doesn't call so ends up challenging his own defenders and as often as not drops it as a result of the collision Spot on with that comment, Martin has done nothing wrong and couldn't of done anything about the goal. I don't think no goalkeeper would have saved that shot, it was curling all the way and you could see it.
DB11 Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 So what will you take up next? After refereeing? I've not really thought about it cos I like refereeing
