scrivins2 Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 sorry if it has already been said but last time we played northampton at home it was in the FA cup, we won 5-1 . i was one of the mascots and ther was a recped made at the club that day. If i am correct, this is the only match in leicester city's history that we have not commited a foul.

Loved it.

Tayn and Prade Posted 26 October 2008 Posted 26 October 2008 Will be good to see a team bring a big support for a change, hopefully we make L1 that little bit more up for it. We only took 2500 yesterday because our derby is Pish over in Swamp donkey country. You're beginning to sound like Leeds with quotes of "we make L1 that little bit more up for it".... Big clubs do not have a devine right to go back up (although personally I think City will.....), just ask Florist or Leeds....or Bradford even? We enjoyed our day at another game in the fixture list. As one of your fellow posters put on here...."our cup final"... that just suggests you are bigging yourselves up. I have a soft spot for Leicester having watched them several times in the days of Lynex, Wallington and Lineker....please don't spoil my impression of a good club guys by sounding like bobby big balls Leeds or Florist etc.... You are in League one because you got relegated for not being good enough last year. Regardless of support level or stadium size or budgets etc...you will be highly respected for being humble during your stay in L1...... As for atmosphere....well I have to agree....with the exception of the drummer boy and his little mob of label clad yoof.....it was surprising to hear such a negative response to your team! Sunderland were the same three weeks ago......Again an example of how "How dare that rubbish little club come to us the big club and give us a run for our money"... Good luck for the rest of the season City...I do mean that...but just treat the little clubs with respect...you are where you are...!
