Champ Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 "Town full of Pakis"... Im disgusted by it!!! We are a CITY not a Town!!
DB11 Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 If the racist chanting was a minority, how come so many heard it? I didn't hear any
JakeShingler Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Watford away last season there were come chants from our boys bordering on racist, about one of their players not getting a passport..... wasn't impressed.Still not as bad as what it sounds like yesterday. A poor showing in this day and age, hope that those who heard it compain to BR emails that Lisa gave. I remember that.
SantiagoFox Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 "Town full of pakis". I believe the standard response is "You're just a town full of w*nkers".
Ross-Kemp Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Was sat in L1 and I must say I didn't personally hear any racist chanting, I was talking to one of the stewards yesterday, and he said they had well over 200 hooligans out.

Daggers Posted 2 November 2008 Author Posted 2 November 2008 I don't make many games (only night / evening ones) but at a match last season, Preston I think, me and my friend were standing at the back of K and had the pleasure of being stuck next to said "teeny chav c*nts". There were chanting reasonably loudly as well, and there were stewards right next to them. Needless to say me and my friend didn't join in with their chant of "DJ is a n*gger".It would seem that the stewards don't want to get involved in dealing with the more drunken members of the crowd, instead calling on the assisstance of the riot police. Ridiculous. I don't care what team these idiots support, they should be thrown out of the ground and banned for life. [email protected]
Ross-Kemp Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Not in the ground - but there's a small section of teeny Chav cvnts in L/K1 who are more than happy to come out with their Nazi/racist bollocks as they stomp back into town en masse. Who ? Where ? When ?
Maybes Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 I didn't hear any Well it still went on. After the racist chants, they started chanting "eng-er-land" and sung the national anthem.
Ross-Kemp Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Well it still went on.After the racist chants, they started chanting "eng-er-land" and sung the national anthem. But Leicester fans also sang this, after singing "small town in Wales" to the rovers fans.
Maybes Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 But Leicester fans also sang this, after singing "small town in Wales" to the rovers fans. Yes
JoeyB Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Well it still went on.After the racist chants, they started chanting "eng-er-land" and sung the national anthem. Heard the national Anthem
SussexFox Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Heard the national Anthem is that racist now I personally can't see much difference between Brizzle fans chanting what they did and Leicester fans chanting about gays at Brighton? U may disagree...
JoeyB Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 is that racist now I personally can't see much difference between Brizzle fans chanting what they did and Leicester fans chanting about gays at Brighton? U may disagree... Maybes said that after they started the racist chants the National anthem was sung, and all i was saying from sitting in C2 i heard it.
SussexFox Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Maybes said that after they started the racist chants the National anthem was sung, and all i was saying from sitting in C2 i heard it. ah sorry
carterfox90 Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 the trouble is that you will never stop it cus rival fans will always sing songs to wind up the opposition is'nt that what football fans are about ?????????????
BlabyFox Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 what were the chants? i was there and heard no racist chants at all
Head Honcho Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 is that racist now I personally can't see much difference between Brizzle fans chanting what they did and Leicester fans chanting about gays at Brighton? U may disagree... ...........................yes but gay bashing is still acceptable in some parts of Evington!
Ross-Kemp Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Fickle bunch aren't we ? Racist chanting is the same as homophobic chanting, it's still being abusive towards a minority. And is a crime. So the 500+ that was singing about "taking it up the bum" etc.. in Brighton should be banned aswell ?
turkish14 Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 we've also got our fair share of morons, like before the northampton game when i seen a group of about 20 city fans walking to the ground doing the nazi salute again thinking there hard with a bit of alcohol in them. The unfortunate thing just prior to that they were singing city songs which made me feel proud and that we had some good supporters, how wrong me and my wife and me teenage brother were.

I think people should maybe take these chants with a pinch of salt tbh its not as if people were being specifically racist or homophobic to individuals at either game, the Rovers fans were prob just on a wind up trying to get a rise from the home fans, jus like we were at bighton

I totally agree, I'm not for one minute suggesting that we should allow racism, but every football club has the idiots. It's part and parcel of the game, we will never, ever get rid of the minority.

You can't come on here trying to be sensible ffs!
