Racist chanting

While we are slapping the Gasheads on the back for being decent folk for joining in the pre-match applause - let's not forget that for the second time this season we have had to listen to shit songs about "Pakis".

Me? I'd take a bolt-gun to their heads...as it is I simply have no sympathy for them because of the ridiculous over-the-top policing.

If anyone has a picture of Skunk-boy being slammed into the dividing seats it would make my decade.

I seen him lol was very funy lol

Can not say i heard these songs.

Check out the Gashead forii - they are equally indignant about it.

Apparently they have been attracting an unwholesome section of society to their recent away matches which accounts for the Riot Squad turning up at L1 today.

Cvnts. The FA should probably concentrate on eradicating the people who do this stuff from our game, instead of endlessly promoting their ridiculous Respect campaign. Get rid of the scum. Now.

As a gashead at the game today, I was totally appalled by the racist chants by a pathetic minority of morons who call themselves Rovers fans. Even my 2 boys of 15 and 10 looked at me and couldn't believe it. That's the way I've brought them up. I for one cannot put up with rascism and the sooner these scum are thrown out of my club and yours and anybody elses, the better it will be for everone. Rant over! :@

point 1: I was in block N and got talking to one of the few decent coppers,i aksed what the reason was for have all the riot police and dog handlers. his reply was they have got far more hooligans with them than what millwall had got at the walkers and they were all drunk as they had been drink on the train all the way up to leicester.

1,if you are drunk you should not be allowed in ground.

2,bristol rovers should pick up the cost of the extra policing.

point 2: we were warned about standing, but its ok to be racist, again the copper said that that the racist singing was nothing to do with him.

Good post, however I have not heard racist chants from us for a very long time. :sweating:

I feel most sorry for the genuine visiting supporters who end up being tarnished with the same brush as this minority of morons.

A little off topic here but we were warned about standing as well. I was told at the Turnstile that if I didn't stay seated, I'd be chucked out. I'm not sure how the Turnstile Operator knew who I was. :dunno:

I can't comment on the racist chanting as I didn't hear it.

If the racist chanting was a minority, how come so many heard it? One or two people amongst nearly 20000 would be hard to hear. There must have been 30-40 which would be pushing the minority thing a bit.

Every club has it's idiots, it's up to everyone sitting around them to get them weeded out.

Front left of L1 and I didnt hear it?

I assume it was more towards the back.

The abuse Gradel was getting was just boos I thought, or is this the chanting in question?

It was.

At the back of their end next to L1, a load of drunk twats all gathered together to entertain us with the "Town full of Paki's" song. According to one of the forums these retards turn up for big or local games only - they went to Leeds and Cheltenham - and make dicks of themselves each time. The chanting was heard by, and offended, a whole load of Rovers fans too.

Not in the ground - but there's a small section of teeny Chav cvnts in L/K1 who are more than happy to come out with their Nazi/racist bollocks as they stomp back into town en masse.

Yes I have a story about this however not for the Msg board

I was sat in the Library area of the Walkers and I couldn't hear any chanting, racist or otherwise. Quite disgraceful though, whether it's aimed at an individual player or chanting as a whole it's still bang out of order.

There was something along the lines of coming to the game to call us pakis. At least we know they weren't there for the football.

Just had a butchers at their forum, they weren't massively impressed by the policing, but some do at least aknowledge that the racist chanting went on.

And the usual "dirty northern barstewards" "what a sh1thole" etc :giggle: . A lot of them are clearly just bitter at losing.

Watford away last season there were come chants from our boys bordering on racist, about one of their players not getting a passport..... wasn't impressed.

Still not as bad as what it sounds like yesterday. A poor showing in this day and age, hope that those who heard it compain to BR emails that Lisa gave.

I don't make many games (only night / evening ones) but at a match last season, Preston I think, me and my friend were standing at the back of K and had the pleasure of being stuck next to said "teeny chav c*nts". There were chanting reasonably loudly as well, and there were stewards right next to them. Needless to say me and my friend didn't join in with their chant of "DJ is a n*gger".

It would seem that the stewards don't want to get involved in dealing with the more drunken members of the crowd, instead calling on the assisstance of the riot police. Ridiculous.

I don't care what team these idiots support, they should be thrown out of the ground and banned for life.
