Rich Fox Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Its one day of chanting, they have to live with that god awful inbred farmer accent every day of their lives Suppose its ok to be racist against people from Bristol then and its ok to call farmers inbred then ?
carterfox90 Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Suppose its ok to be racist against people from Bristol then and its ok to call farmers inbred then ? spot on :crylaugh:
Sods Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 the trouble is that you will never stop it cus rival fans will always sing songs to wind up the opposition is'nt that what football fans are about ????????????? What?
Floating Fox Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 1,if you are drunk you should not be allowed in ground. Why?
JakeShingler Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 1,if you are drunk you should not be allowed in ground. Shut up.
Floating Fox Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 Because you might be naughty! I'm naughty sober though.
Finnegan Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 If you're drunk* you aren't allowed in pubs, why should you be expected to be allowed into a football ground? I love a good piss up, don't get me wrong, but no establishment wants you stumbling in fucked off your tits to be rowdy and cause a scene. *Drunk enough to be an issue, I don't count having had a few beers and being a bit merrier or louder than normal an issue.
AoWW Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 spot on :crylaugh: Just out of curiosity - do you happen to have a relation called Jake?

I've never been refused entry to a pub for being too drunk...
syston_fox Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 I've never been refused entry to a pub for being too drunk... Then clearly you have more drinking to do my boy!
Ross-Kemp Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Then clearly you have more drinking to do my boy!
Finnegan Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 I've never been refused entry to a pub for being too drunk... Then clearly you have more drinking to do my boy! Haha, what Syston said. We used to go on pub crawls around London and I'd be frequently turned away from places for being too wrecked, towards the end!
filbertway Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 I've never been refused entry to a pub for being too drunk... I have, bad times. You just fall asleep in the pubs toilets when you've had too much that's why
Fox You Forest Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 I have plenty of times. Mostly for just being plastered but there was one time i was pissed in one pub and my mate kept touching my face i had no idea what he was doing we left there soon after and i got turned away from being to pissed at the next pub, Turned out he had been covering my face with chalk from the pool table.
lildave3 Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 I have, bad times. You just fall asleep in the pubs toilets when you've had too much that's why Waayyyy!

ozleicester Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Fickle bunch aren't we ?Racist chanting is the same as homophobic chanting, it's still being abusive towards a minority. And is a crime. So the 500+ that was singing about "taking it up the bum" etc.. in Brighton should be banned aswell ? I think people should maybe take these chants with a pinch of salt tbh its not as if people were being specifically racist or homophobic to individuals at either game, the Rovers fans were prob just on a wind up trying to get a rise from the home fans, jus like we were at bighton ahhh the great challenge of political correctness, simple facts people...its all or nothing. You can not sit on the moral high ground and be offended by racial taunts..but then say homphobic chants are ok. Perhaps its best if everyone just Boo's... so much easier and give MM something to talk about.

I went to the game and I didn't hear no racist chanting, I heard the away fans sing the national anthem and 'england, england' in and out of the ground. I took my young boy with me and if he were to hear such hatred remarks I would probably never take him again. To pollute such young minds with such filth is dispacable!! I wouldn't bother writing to Peter Jones or the club, i've done that many times before, they have there heads so far up there arses, they can't see reality. They will apologise and all will be forgotten, and blame a 'minority' and discuss there success of 'Kick Racism out of football' campiagn, which is nonsense, neither the club or the police have the guts to take any 'real' action, so I doubt very much that racism or ay prejudism will be erradicated!!!

You have to Boo to get any action and I've noticed the racist chanters are careful not to include boos in the songs.
