TAFKA Castroneves Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, the referee hasn't been good to either side today. Should have been a penalty.
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Sounds like we are still going for this though, come on City!
Molson Canadian Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 we never seem to get any decisions that go our way
Molson Canadian Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 i think Moore should be given a chance bring him in for de vries !

Hazza Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Can't get Radio Leicester here but talking to a mate over MSN about it, were the fans singing 'You don't know what you're doing' to Levein when Tiatto was subbed? Just going by what he said but i found it pretty weird.

Bringing him on 10 mins from the end was too little too late. Overall it was a bad performance. We can yes but it was against Wigan but that shouldnt be much of an excuse. We have a better side than them on paper, we have a better side than most teams in this division on paper. I expect big improvements next season. We need to discipline ourselves more, that would be a good start. The ammount of fouls we give away every game is ridiculous. I dont think we will go down this season, but I do think we will cut it mighty fine...
Hazza Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Well the Cardiff game is massive now, lose that and then the probable loss to Sunderland on saturday and we'd be in deep trouble. I'm using the job Burley's job at Derby as a benchmark for what can happen here, it took them over a year to get the squad they currently have, and though i'm not willing to see this kind of struggling at the start of next season, i hope Levein can do something similiar in the summer.
Tommy Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 Personally i think we were soundly turned over today, for the first time in a long while. I think the Cardiff game is now a deffinate must win. . We looked slightly for the better when Dion came upfront, it gave us an option of someone who could actually head the ball. I think we had a strong penalty claim turned down in the 2nd half, but c'est la vie i suppose when you are 2-0 down.

An embarrassment when you look at their strikeforce. Awful today, Levein's decisions were shit. Both wingers took off, desperation meant lets encourage hoofball, but to De Vries, which is comedy. Wigan showed us how to play football, didn't need to break any sweat after their 2nd goal, walk in the park. De Vries out
filbertway Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 DE Vries please leave us and go back to scotland, we were totally outplayed today, didn't seem to put up a fight. Was very disapointing, bt hey ho, lets make up for it against cardiff. Dublin put in another good performance. Where was hughes is he injured?
Anish Posted 16 April 2005 Posted 16 April 2005 I have to say the best team won - they outclassed us in every department. I wasn't too angry today because the players put in the effort but showed that they aren't good enough to compete with the top teams. We should have got a penalty in the 2nd half - it was a disgraceful foul and so blatent - god knows what the ref was playing at. We did look a lot better when Dublin went up front, although having said that I didn't think De Vries had too bad a game. He was better than his last few performances, won a few headers and had some neat touches and interplay. It was strange when the kop chanted 'You don't know what you're doing' to CL when Tiatto came off. I was baffled by that decision, Moore is no left winger and the substitution was even more bizarre considering we had Wilcox on the bench. I thought Tiatto was very poor today - he drifts far too much for my liking and doesn't hold his position enough. Plus his reckless tackling and temperament leads me to question whether he should remain club captain.
