I will have to check my work calendar when I get back, although course dates are yet to be re-lease but I think I will be ok.Who would I have to pay etc? Or is it a case of simply turning up on the day and paying? The Eurostar and German Train as well as hotels are booked already so you'd have to do that yourself....(i'll link you) For match tickets Fridya night is pay on gate, if your confirmed as deffo coming then I'll sort you out with a ticket for saturday but I'm not sure if theres any left for the sunday game. You do know this is the feburary trip as well yeah?

They go to that thing every year and always camp with the same bunch of people from around the UK.

I've looked at the attendances and they seem to near enough sell out most home games so I imagine a big game like Hamburg they would sell out. Anyone know how I go about getting tickets for the game? I'd rather fly then get the train and I've seen some decent prices to Dusseldorf but I don't want to book the flights and then not get a ticket for the game.

I'm interested in seeing the Veltins Arena more than anything else so I might go for a game which isn't as big as the Hamburg one.

Yeah thats your best bet..Although it is possible to get tickets for big games. You just have to try (Look at fan projects etc) Schalke aren't the best, the got rid of their "kapo" (Guy with megaphone) who was quality and my mate who's been said they were pretty poor. Got amazing away support though.

Contact the club. Schalke are the club most subcribed for tickets and have members coming out of their ears. This fixture remains how of those looked most forward to in Schalke's season.

However, the February one is a distinct possibility as I would definitely be able to get Thurs 12th and Friday 13th just got to try and somehow meddle my way out of Monday 16th <_< How much do you think it would cost me in total now then etc?

I love Germany and will defo return sooner rather than later All of those are adult...Eurostar is U26..I'm not sure about the train back to Belguim too, as I entered the exact ages of my group 20-18... Doubt it'd make much difference though.

I'm at a fairly advanced stage in organising our trip, but was wondering what the the cheapest way of getting tickets is? You still looking at going to Dortmund? If your going by Train (Which I advise) then go on Eurostar and it comes up with an availability calendar for the cheapest fares...So you click the date you want and a time, you should be able to get to Brussels for £49 ret. (If your all under 26 which I guess you are ) The Eurostar ticket allows travel to any station in Belguim, so in our last trip we've used it to get to the Belguim/German border, then buy a ticket to cross the border. Once your in Germany you can buy a train ticket called a Schönes Wochenende (Happy weekend)/ Lander ticket (depends if you go on the weekend or not!). They cost 35 Euros for 5 people and allow travel on any german train expect the express trains. This is the cheapest way, but also very complex (I probably lost you a while back!!) This time what we did was book Thalys, which is an express train from Brussels to Cologne, with single tickets as cheap as 15 Euros. Then you can go from Cologne to any major cities in Germany really. Link That is for German rail tickets, usually earlier trains are cheaper (Our return from Bochum - Brussels is at 6:50am!) but have a look around on there. I don't think you can buy the Schones or Lander tickets on there though, you have to get them from ticket machines at the station. Another note, be carefull with the Thalys website, very temperamental and took us a good week before we managed to book ourselves on a train!
