Alexikokopops Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Registering interest. Me too. i can get a discount on the Eurostar for up to four people. It's £49 return (which you can get if you book in advance as already mentioned), but we booked our tickets a couple of weeks in advance for Paris at that price. Keen. £99 return for first class.
Dr The Singh Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 I've been to Hamburg, Dortmund and Dusseldorf, all are class places to go!! Lights are relatively cheap to Dusseldorf, accomodation is also cheap!!

Floating Fox Posted 1 December 2008 Author Posted 1 December 2008 Might be going in Feburary for 3 games on the weekend when we play Swindon at home.
Floating Fox Posted 2 December 2008 Author Posted 2 December 2008 You going to watch The Hoff of 1899 at home? Wouldn't be caught dead there. Rot_wiess Oberhausen vs St.Pauli (Away end) Bochum vs Schalke (derby) Vfl Osnabruck vs Mainz 3 days, 3 games. Looks like we'll be flying over for this one = Not as good. Anyone who wants to come is welcome but I know most of you won't want to be missing the excitement at the walkers bowl
CosbehFox Posted 18 December 2008 Posted 18 December 2008 Might be going in Feburary for 3 games on the weekend when we play Swindon at home. I've just had a look and you can do something uncontrollable silly and go 7 games in 9 days!! Fri - Oberhausen v St Pauli Sat - Koln v Karlschure//Bochum v Schalke Sun - Dortmund v Cottbus//Aachen v Nurnberg Mon - Ligue 2 French Game possibles are at Metz, Reims and Sedan Tues - Attempt to get from Dover to Hartlepool within a day - surely possible or fly to Newcastle from Paris. Wed - UEFA Cup Thu - UEFA Cup Fri - Port Vale v Lincoln//Chesterfield v someone Sat - Brizzle Rvrs v Leicester Barmy and without researching correctly, probably impossible.
Lovejoy Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 Right then me hearties me and a few mates are seriously interested in heading out to Germany between now and the end of the season. we haven't really decided on where to go yet, or indeed how long for. Personally I'd love to see the "Sudtribune" in full voice at Dortmund, even if we can't actually get on the terrace ourselves. So get persuading peeps, I've an open mind as I've never been before .
potter3 Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 Looks like we'll be flying over for this one What happened to this?

Floating Fox Posted 31 December 2008 Author Posted 31 December 2008 Dates and how much? Most of the stuff is already sorted, although your still welcome Rob. 12th - Night in Laaandon (£10) 13th - Eurostar to Brux (£50 ret) - Express train to Koln (£12) - Train to Dusiberg/Oberhausen (Fiver) - RW Oberhausen vs St.Pauli (Away end. Ticket will be cheap) - Hotel In Bochum 14th - Bochum vs Schalke (£8) - Get to see Kuranyi miss plenty of sitters! Night out on the lash on Bochum 15th - Osnabruck vs Mainz (Tickets have been ordered as not many left) - Train there and back about a fiver again. Stay the night in Bochum 16th - Early train to Brux (£15) - Day in Brux (Plenty of DUVEL ) - Eurostar home at 6ish. Train back to Leicester! Can't wait The planning for the end of season trip has started as well....They are thinking about doing Berlin vs Bochum and then Hamburg vs Bochum with a trip into Prague to watch a game inbetween... There was a cheecky thought of going to Croatia but I doubt that will happen! I'll keep you informed. And Lovejoy, google bundelsiga and use their site, find out a weekend when Dortmund are playing at home, but try to make it a weekend where another local team play the next day (Bochum, Schalke, Koln, Leverkusen, Duisberg - Theres about 10 teams less than an hour away by train). Also they don't release the exact fixture date striaght away, but they've got the exact fixtures untill early March at the minute. The Subtribune at Dortmund is sold out with season tickets however you can find tickets on ebay sometimes if your lucky, however i'm sure you'd be ok for a seating ticket, or maybe even try the away end, my mates did it with Nurmeburg and siad it was mental!
Floating Fox Posted 31 December 2008 Author Posted 31 December 2008 What happened to this? Eurostar so we can stop off in Brussels and visit the greatest vending machine in the world. So get persuading peeps, I've an open mind as I've never been before . You shouldn't need convincing. The beer and football are enough for me

I will have to check my work calendar when I get back, although course dates are yet to be re-lease but I think I will be ok. Who would I have to pay etc? Or is it a case of simply turning up on the day and paying?
