20 something games in and I'm calling it.

Congrats Thunder!

Their biggest threat IMO comes from their own conference. Keep this play up though and I'd have to say they are masssssssive favourites.

I was a bit shocked when I saw that the top two clubs in the East are the Pistons and the Knicks.

I think the Thunder’s biggest challenges in the playoffs will be the Nuggets and Rockets. I think the nuggets may not have the depth off the bench for the playoffs and Murray’s durability is always an issue. The rockets look like they have better  depth and crazy size which lets them crash the offensive boards unrelentingly, a problem for the thunder. But if the rockets don’t get vanvleet back as the main ball handler, the thunder could force a lot of backcourt turnovers.

If it floats your boat, all power to you.  But to most of us,  it's just games between the same teams, on different paint.

Bring over a couple of top European teams to play in the semifinals and finals, and it might be a little bit interesting.

I don’t care what your take is. I’m enjoying a nice thing the Knicks did, that’s all. Go back to Ohio.

It's my take, and the club's take as well

They'll thank you for buying a T shirt or a "framed collage", though.

I didn’t buy anything. I just posted “GO NEW YORK GO” in this thread, said I was enjoying a nice win and told you to do what I’m about to tell you again: go back to Ohio.

Raptors get 5th and play the cavs. Think I prefer that match up then the Knicks. Going to be a very tough series for us regardless. Just happy to be back in  the playoffs.

Quickly (hamstring) is out for the first game of the Raptors-Cavs series. Was hoping for a couple of Raptors' wins but his absences won't help.

All credit to the Raps for taking this to a winnable game 7 with so many guys unavailable.  Impressive.

That said, the Cavs are the definition of an easy out in the playoffs.  So mentally weak, they make LCFC look like an elite Special Forces unit in comparison.

Whoever wins game 7 is fodder for Detroit.

Pistons looked better today, but I think the Knicks will win the East. For the West, I can’t decide between the Spurs and Thunder. The scary thing about the spurs is that after finishing the regular season ranked 15th in 3 point percentage, they are #1 in that category in the playoffs. The Thunder have turned their defence up to top gear, but they tend to over rotate to the ball side, leaving the weak side corner 3 shooters open, which could be a problem against the spurs.

I got this text an hour before tipoff.

The young man only goes off for 22 points and 19 rebounds ;)

I hope the Cavs will have that restaurant cater their pregame meals vs Detroit!

Going to a restaurant the day before a game is questionable? Come on. IIRC Rodman headed to Vegas during an off day when the Bulls were in the finals, and he played well in the next game.

Post first round predictions:

Pistons vs Knicks ECF, Pistons in 6 (Just seems like they have the Knicks' number based on the regular season)/

Spurs vs Thunder WCF, Spurs in 7

Spurs vs Pistons Finals, Spurs in 4

Wemby Finals MVP
