I have a conspiracy theory about kawhi’s return to Toronto: he’s coming here to avoid legal charges related to his illegal contract with the clippers. So, he’ll only play home games, never setting foot in America. It’s called Legal Management.

With all this stuff coming out, why would the raps ever think it was a good idea to trade for kawahi? Did they honestly think if they traded for him all the problems would just go away

Well good thing is trade is on hold.

For what its worth, i think its a bad idea. I respect kawhi for his part but he ran away at first chance and for me its a thanks but no thanks on a return especially at his age.

Add in this BS, it's not cool.

Sigh.

From what I understand, it is only on hold because of the raps, it isn’t like the league is stopping this trade.

The raps should’ve done their “due diligence” and figured something isn’t right, why are the clips so eager to make this trade and why does kawahi want to come back so badly that they say Toronto was the only place he would sign an extension with, things like this plus the investigation not over the raps shouldn’t have gotten involved.

Anybody else think Team LeBron has overplayed their hand this time?  They are hyping his umpteenth free agency as if it was "The Decision" all over again.  The podcasts, the advertised "leaks" of absolutely nothing, the appearances by team execs.  People are tired of it.

There are free agents every summer that fit the description:  "one or two teams can afford to pay him, that he could boost into serious contention."  Beyond that, this drama is meaningless.

Obviously he's a god in Cleveland.  I think he's the GOAT and I'd like him to return.   But only because I would enjoy the chance to go to a couple games and remember the good times.  The team is going nowhere with or without him.  At the end of the day, I'm not really bothered.
