FilboFox Posted 12 November 2008 Posted 12 November 2008 Two students both doing presentations during term time! Oh my god, not only must you be at the same university you two must be brothers! Well considering we both support Leicester, I thought maybe, he might be at one of the Leicester Uni's...

Vardinhio Posted 13 November 2008 Author Posted 13 November 2008 I'm at Nottingham Trent Uni so not too far away. The presentation will be on non-store retailing, I'm sure I'll think of something but it's gonna be tough to interact with everyone in an activity. There isn't a huge amount of theory on it either.

AoWW Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 Er, I'm still not really sure what you're after. If you're wanting to generate some debate/discussion with a bit of a philosophical leaning, you could try asking an 'impossible question' (I nick mine from a great book called 'The Book of Thunks). For example: what is the biggest colour; can you turn a sound upside down; does a goldfish know it is your pet; if you wrote a piece of music down but never played it, is it still music? etc, etc... you get the idea! The point to stress is that there is no right or wrong answer - the interest comes from how people justify their own opinions. Dunno if this helps?
Daggers Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 The presentation will be on non-store retailing Nuff said - I think you need worry not about getting your audience to interact as they will be gripped by the subject from the word 'go'. Or the words 'expanding brand awareness through niche marketing'. I wish I could make it. Have you thought about taking young Jammy along with you as a presentation prop?
Vardinhio Posted 9 December 2008 Author Posted 9 December 2008 Yay, I got 70% for my presentation today
