Your fact finding has inspired us for many years now, and long may it continue. Please educate and fill our minds with more rousing facts. I feel like I’m always learning. Alexikokopops Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 What is the largest LIVING halibut in captivity, Alexi? I can tell you that the largest fish ever caught on a line was an 8ft 1 halibut weighing 31st (smashing the previous record by 24lb). I don't believe there are that many halibii in captivity. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2022930/posts

We could sell them and become miwyunaires! Be warned, they are the biggest species of flat fish. Do you think we're ready to handle that?
The People's Hero Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 Be warned, they are the biggest species of flat fish. Do you think we're ready to handle that? They may be big, but as you say, they are flat, so can easily be stored under mattrii, in an attic or simply stacked in a corner of a small room (not that small though). I don't think they can be folded without causing them serious internal damage. (So my ori-fishy-gami idea is out the window).
