Kilworthfox Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Well said KilworthFox, agree with everything there mate. From what I know he was released from LCFC as a youngster(13 or 14ish) for giggling and mucking about in a training session(and yes, I have my sources). This is how he ended up playing at Quorn FC before being snapped up by Dario Gradi after watching the lad in a pre-season match. Still, he's at Derby now... From what I have seen of him if he was to play like he did just before he left for Charlton he is one hell of a player! I remember the goal vs Man U. Also Varney can not be alone for under performing at Charlton at present. I would love to see him here, & I am sure if money or quality of football was not an issue he would be here before any other club just like we (LCFC fans) would. See people I don't talk shit all the time
20mj08 Posted 28 November 2008 Author Posted 28 November 2008 at the end of the day everyones got to work and footballs his work. the lad loves football and wants to play often so goon on the lad
dandannieldanok Posted 28 November 2008 Posted 28 November 2008 Quorn set to receive in the region £40,000.
lildave3 Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Charlton have let him play tonight against them, they must really not rate him
Father Ted Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Charlton have let him play tonight against them, they must really not rate him  And that's why they are bottom of the league.
lildave3 Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 And that's why they are bottom of the league. That and the fact they're shit.
Milky Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Charlton have let him play tonight against them, they must really not rate him  That really is an insult I'd love him to score if it wasn't derby
Finnegan Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 His youngest brother was in my form in Stonehill and Longslade, if that helps. But I've never met Luke other than seeing him once in Blockbusters after he signed for Crewe. No idea who he supports!
CosbehFox Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Charlton have let him play tonight against them, they must really not rate him  Or more to do with that Derby will sign him at an inflated priced in January but the Sheep wanted the guartenee of his services tonight. His youngest brother was in my form in Stonehill and Longslade, if that helps. But I've never met Luke other than seeing him once in Blockbusters after he signed for Crewe. No idea who he supports! A son of cousin (sound like one of those lads at school ) played footie with him when he was young younger and his Dad(Varney) often drinks the boozer still from their days leaving school. He's a City fan and swore when younger he'd never move to the likes of Derby but of course, if someone is paying you money..... City's ''derbies'' esp. considering their city versus city fixtures just don't have the intensity to make it a problem.
