As you may know I plough a lone furrow on this forum. For some peculiar reason Micky Adams has now been installed on his own special plinth in the Pantheon of LCFC villains. He ranks second only to the great unmentionable himself.

So every now and again it is gratifying to come across a poster who has the mental acuity and independence of mind to recognise the vital contribution that Mr Adams made to the fortunes of LCFC. I believe I have found such a kindred spirit.

A fan who has the courage to stand alone and leave the mindless herd. A fan who is as constant as the northern star in his opinions. A fan who does not revise our clubs' glorious history to suit his own fickle bonehead inclinations.

I wholeheartedly endorse his deeply held convictions which I quote below:

'There really are some ill informed people on this forum who I can safely conclude

actually know nothing about the game of football.

'For some people to be shouting for Adams head is ridiculous, absolutely pathetic and the knee jerk reaction of the small minded know-nothings that seem to make up a large portion of the current City fanbase.'

A little harsh perhaps but sentiments I broadly share.

It wasn't you assuming a different name, Chandler?

Hey chandler,

Id like to make it clear that just because people thought MA had to go it does not mean its were not appreciated during his time here. He has been imo the most successful manager since o'neill left, but he had to go, as much for us as for himself. im sure he would admit he is m uch happier at Cov than at the end of his time here.

Kenny

PS, i dont know who said it

Who gives a shit who said what? It doesn't make an ounce of difference.

I do believe that I said that and at the time was perfectly entitled to, and I stand by that first sentence, and the second as it goes to.

Micky Adams was given every chance by me, whether I liked him or not, to prove himself, the fact he made the same mistakes as the previous season indicated he had learnt nothing and was to arrogant to change his ways. Mind you in hindsight I would wager that he he was stabbed in the back by his Director of Football who clearly didn't give him the best of advise.

Once again we have people making knee-jerk assumptions about the current manager when the problems lie much deeper. Adams was not a manager for the Premier League or even the higher places of the Championship. He was either unwilling or unable to clear out the mediocrity and now we are plagued by his mismanagement.

Even I conceed I was a great adams fan and yes I thought he was the man to take city forward. but because MA lost it and did not know how to sort out the mess. I had to put the club first and I changed my mind about MA

Before you say it Chandler, While CL is (IMO) doing the best he can for city and is improving the mess at city, I will give CL my full support even through the bad times, and I have no doubt that when CL makes desicions that cause the amount of bad times to exceed the amount of good times. I will start to question CL's ability and I will express my concerns.

Not even CL is bigger than the club so I will always put the club first

You're a backslider and a wriggler Step. You are now craftily trying to position yourself so that you can hound out Levein from the club and pretend that you knew he was a heap of shite all along. You are also cunningly 'revising' your 'revision' of the Adams era.

As you know I will continue to remind you and everyone else what you really thought at the time. Once a fickle bonehead, always a fickle bonehead.

Oh,and while we're at it,I seem to remember some link or other about the timing of Levein's scouting missions? Another one of your fibs is it?

Like your conversations with anonymous LCFC malcontents during Micky's dog days?

Chandler, your off again. I aint changing anything I have said in the past and dont want to.

I am sure you understand the concept of "Changing ones mind" but i think that you have a deep rooted problem applying that concept in this contect, so please consider the context below.

Every thing indicated PT was suppose to be good, so I like most thought he would do ok at leicester. We all found out he was shite and changed our mind. That aint difficult to understand is it?

The same applies with MA. Understand that and you will be a happier man

As for the link, I dont know how to do it. but as you are the one that accused CL of deserting city in their/ our of need. I suggest you find the link and back your argument with facts.
