DJ Barry Hammond Posted 24 December 2008 Posted 24 December 2008 There was 50 people and that took 3 and a half hours.....i needed to take my laptop in to the bog with me That's dedication - Those little 5 minute breaks are never long enough to do all you want to do? (Unless you can smoke and make a sandwhich while sitting on the toilet!) Sounds like you're doing alright Soccerroo - however be warned, I'm sure the online site's have a secret design to make beginners get very lucky so they win, get over confident, and then begin shafting them from there!

BoneDog Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 Party poker for tournies and Pokerstars play money
martyn Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 Just started playing online again after a long time out after getting bored with the game. Managed to turn a £10 free bet into £800 over 12 months on Sportingodds poker, just by playing 5 seater $10 Sit n Go's. Now playing on Full tilt, doing the 6 seat Sit n Go's $5 buy in. Had a rubbish start but after getting back into it, am starting to make money again. Seeing only about 10% of flops until some idiots decide to knock themselves out, then start playing.
maddog Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 Ive won a lot of online tourneys, won 2 in a row on consectutive nights, both with 1000 people in, both $1 buy ins, ended up with about $800. Also won many freeroll tournaments with 1000-2000 people in. Have made about £600 from them, and withdrew all that, haven't deposited a penny though And probably never will as most of it is fixed. I do play a bit with mates and NEVER lose.
