Uncle Albert Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 For once I am being serious. The kid was a complete loon. I just thought that little lad is actually Gazza's son and he was jumping around and singing after they had been to see him in Portugal while his step-daughter/son Bianca and Mason were in tears. Wrong that. Did you see my little request in the photoshop thread?

I am just in the process of watching Barca V Atletico.

Thracian Posted 6 January 2009 Author Posted 6 January 2009 From personal experience - you could have the Dagenham Girl's Marching Band walking through the front room while messages are relayed onto the wall by laser being read out on the PA system by Brad Pitt and it'd still make no difference if the alcoholic isn't ready to listen. It's harsh and it hurts, but alcoholics are total ****heads to their family's. How right you are yet the world is full of gullible women who think they'll be able to change them. Far too often wives/girlfriends pay dearly, and/or literally, for their naivity.
Durnerz Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Growing up Gazza was one of my favourites, a truely unpredictable talent capable of the sublime and the sadistic on the pitch. So sad to see him like this, i've read his autobiography and as gooder read as it is, the signs where more than evident of the situation hes in now. His family however I have no respect for bar Mason last night, Bianca is clearly living off the Gascoigne name to promote herself, as is Sheryl, you could tell something had been said to his youngest as he seemed to be trying to remember a script almost, theres wrongs on both sides but either way its very sad to see what Gazza has become.
Ultra Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 It was especially sad how everyone seemed to be craving a piece of the limelight. The way in which Regan in particular seemed to be manipulated (both on and off screen) was the most disturbing aspect of all. Sadly it looks as if this saga can only end in one way - and sooner rather than later.

Spot on. Hate that Bianca. Obviously I would though....
Ultra Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 The question arises, if Sheryl can apparently have moved on from her first husband (with whom she had TWO kids), why can't she do the same with her second? I waited for an answer but she was never asked about it.

Gazza's maintenance payments perhaps answer your question.

I feel he's almost beyond help. Such a sad story.
Ultra Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Gazza's maintenance payments perhaps answer your question. Another issue that wasn't raised in the programme. I wasn't aware that he was still in a position to make maintenance payments..
Finnegan Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Spot on. Hate that Bianca. Obviously I would though.... so inappropriate.
Zingari Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 probably in the minority about this , but i couldn't give a flying fook about him or that george best before him
Ultra Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 They were both quality footballers in their day. Sadly Best couldn't cope with life outside or beyond football, and it appears Gascoigne can't either. Sometimes the cost of the national obsession extends way beyond the money paid at the turnstile or ticket office..
Hullfox Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 I would argue that both Best and Gazza would have ended up as addicts of some sort anyway.
