JakeShingler Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Arshavin not going to Arsenal according to SSN. Waiting for his private jet and going home. Because Arsenal will only pay half of his normal contract.
Joe. Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Arsenal being tight bastards as usual. The fee/wages were probably over the odds, but they've got to expect to pay big money for Arshavin given that he could easily end up at another big club soon enough.
Tilley Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 I respect Arsene Wenger doesn't want to disrupt his wage structure, but when you are in danger of not even qualifying for the Champions League, I think it is time to accept enough is enough & he needs to start spending.
Samilktray Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Arsenal are becoming a bit of joke with this wage structure they have.

GLC Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Oh yeah, forgot about him!If Quaresma comes in, I wouldn't be suprised if Bentley is sent packing! Spurs will be a good team next year! Well better then this team
Tilley Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Spurs will be a good team next year!Well better then this team Hasn't that been said for about 3 seasons running? I'll believe it when I see it. Tottenham have the biggest turnover of players I've ever seen, it's ridiculous.

Good point, but it won't take long for them to beat this years team David Beckham has been included in AC Milan's Champions League squad. Coach Carlo Ancelotti would not be drawn on whether this means Becks is going to sign for the Serie A club permanently
