Tilley Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Because he's better. Given's a class 'keeper. Joe Hart is quality & deserves first team football in the Premiership. He's done nothing wrong & will obviously get dropped when Given comes in. & then Given will get dropped when Hughes gets sacked & some crazy foreigner comes in in the summer. Wouldn't touch Man City with a bargepole.
Tilley Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Tal Ben Haim in talks with Sunderland. Olivier Dacourt having a medical at Fulham. Fulham also in talks with MLS over possible return of Brian McBride.
Brainy Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 I wish Hart was part of a swap deal that took Given to Man City. He doesn't deserve to rot on the subs bench.
Pricey Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Why are Fulham wanting Mcbride again? Surely he's had his time there
lildave3 Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Bloody undisclosed fees. <_< Great keeper, but I don't exactly think Hart was doing a bad job. Interested to see what happens with him and his career now.
Joe. Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Bloody undisclosed fees. <_< Great keeper, but I don't exactly think Hart was doing a bad job. Interested to see what happens with him and his career now. We'll take him. There we go Mark Hughes, the solution to the question everybody wants answering. Joe Hart to Leicester City. Sense.
dandannieldanok Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Hull have made a bid for Christian Panucci! Would be a cracking signing if they got him, he's still a top defender despite his age. Given's GoneIt's official. Good signing, Hart's OK but in my opinion Given is streets ahead of him.
Brainy Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Good signing, Hart's OK but in my opinion Given is streets ahead of him. Don't really think anyone is dismissing that, but Hart looks promising and it would be good to see him playing first team football somewhere in the Premiership.
Ultra Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Would be a cracking signing if they got him, he's still a top defender despite his age. Indeed, that's why he's still at Roma. If he did leave (which now seems unlikely), I doubt it would be for a team like Hull.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Hull have made a bid for Christian Panucci! Have to admire Hull's ambition. Like you've said it's unlikely though.

Asha Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 No waiting up until midnight tonight to see the end, it closes at 5 pm! Plus we can all watch as it unfolds, what with there being no college.

Joe. Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Could be looking at: Santa Cruz to Man City/Spurs? Arshavin to Arsenal? Keane to Spurs? (doubtful in my opinion) All to be completedat 4:59 pm obviously.

Tilley Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Zenit St Petersburg have snapped up Celtic target Szabolcs Husztifrom Hannover. The highly-rated Hungarian international midfielder was high on Gordon Strachan's wanted list, but former Rangers boss Dick Advocaat has moved to take him to Russia This must clear the way for Arshavin to finally move to Arsenal?
lildave3 Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Arshavin not going to Arsenal according to SSN.
