Fosse Boy Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 In Harborough. Where else in Britain have people been waking up to a carpet of white dung today?
JoeyB Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 It's not snowed in Kegowrth but most other villages have had snow
Corky Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 In Harborough. Where else in Britain have people been waking up to a carpet of white dung today? The east end of Norwich.
Darkzzz_ Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Kettering. I wouldn't have minded if the snow caved this town in.....
The People's Hero Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Maidstone has had loads. I bloody hate it.
Lillehamring Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 outrageous! bloody -16 when i went to the pictures last night, and not a cloud in the sky - what's the point of freezing your knackers of if it doesn't snow... rubbish
Thracian Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Waking up to the snow hardly inspired optimism for the day's trading in the freezing cold of Leicester Market but, as so often, the reality took us by surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. In fact, such was the flow of customers that I asked one of our long term unemployed - on his way back from the job centre - why he didn't get a stall on the market? He said "no fear" and that you'd never catch him working outside in such conditions. Ironic that seeing as he spent an hour all told standing around in the bitter cold he supposedly didn't like - just talking.
Fosse Boy Posted 5 January 2009 Author Posted 5 January 2009 @ "Blizzard." It was! There were proper snowflakes and everything!
