50th Birthday present ideas please

HELLO THERE.

It's me mam's 50th at the end of this month and can't think what to get her!

I've booked her a suprise party which should be all good but need to think of a decent present - not for a huge amount of cash either.

I'm thinking maybe do the sentimental route and get her a load of photo's from her life in an album or something.

think for me please, as i am very lazy.

Do that then. My Mum did that for Christmas. Made Calendars, photo albums etc.

Do it in a 'this is your life' style. In a red album etc. My mum did that for my dad and it went down a treat.

Yeah, that's a nice present and cheap. I always end up buying tickets to a show in London or something for my mum's birthday. She loves them. I have a sister to share the cost with though and even then it's not cheap.

You upload your digital pics to them and they can turn them into a calendar or a diary, or a rather natty book - it may sound like a photo album, but trust me, it's better. Have a look

I know someone whose best man did a powerpoint presentation of photos as an aid to his speech. It went down a treat. :giggle:

As someone who's wife past that milepost and some, I don't recommend you make a big deal of the fifty years old bit. You might consider treating her to something special like a spa where she can be pampered. That's what my son did for my wife and she loved it. Maybe a sister or female friend could go with her

I realise you said something not expensive but for my Dad's 50th, we bought him 50 presents. Unfortunately we ran out of ideas after about 35 so the remaining 15 were single wrapped up golf balls!
