Tevez Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Dear O' Dear. Who the bloody hell have they signed? Knowing my donald he'll probably bag a cheeky 20 goals, but 9 million especially when they are in the shit.
lildave3 Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 In other news, how the **** has Carlton Cole scored 6 in 6. He's actually looked good lately.
Edmund Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 In other news, how the **** has Carlton Cole scored 6 in 6.He's actually looked good lately. Watching West Ham Vs Hull, Cole looking good. Hull look piss poor also. Bullard might regret his move there come the end of the season.
Brainy Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Really bad finances down there, yet they go and splash a potential 9m on an unknown. I don't quite understand..
lildave3 Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 That new player is not even on. Just come on, his first touch was cheered by the crowd. Can't see that lasting.
Uncle Albert Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Looked good tonight West Ham did, I really hate them though. Brilliant spine to a team. Green, Upson, Parker and Cole - quality.
JoeyB Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Looked good tonight West Ham did, I really hate them though. Brilliant spine to a team. Green, Upson, Parker and Cole - quality. I thought that too. Zola has got them playing well.
syston_fox Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Looked good tonight West Ham did, I really hate them though. Brilliant spine to a team. Green, Upson, Parker and Cole - quality. Any reason? They've always struck me as a team that people dont really like or hate.... just one of those teams that potter along!
Samilktray Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Carlton Cole is finally getting some well deserved praise after a good run in the side.
Uncle Albert Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Any reason? They've always struck me as a team that people dont really like or hate.... just one of those teams that potter along! Ow I used to like them, especially when they had Di Canio, Sinclair, Ferdinand, Lampard and Joey Cole but then they sung that song about Glen Roeder and I turned on them ever since. Was disgusting and I know alot of other clubs sing about sick tragedies but that made me feel sick what they were singing. West Ham fans should feel ashamed at that. Carlton Cole is finally getting some well deserved praise after a good run in the side. Exactly. Workhorse and now banging the goals in, him and Di Michelle look class.

Since Zola took over and they started actually trying to play football, I must admit that I've warmed to them. They're never gonna be one of the teams I check for the scores of but I think Zola's creating something special there at the moment.

Ultra Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Really bad finances down there, yet they go and splash a potential 9m on an unknown.I don't quite understand.. They did get a shedload for Craig Bellamy, though. And I doubt whether Savio is on anything like the same salary.
Corky Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 They did get a shedload for Craig Bellamy, though. And I doubt whether Savio is on anything like the same salary. How the hell does Bellamy seem so attractive to all these clubs? He's a complete tosser with no loyalty. Always been the same, since he was a kid at Norwich (though slagging off Coventry and their fans after helping them get relegated was his one plus point).
DB11 Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 then they sung that song about Glen Roeder and I turned on them ever since. What did they sing? Like, what were the words etc.
Uncle Albert Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 What did they sing? Like, what were the words etc. I dont know what the songs were but it was about the brain tumour that Glen Roeder had and when he came out of the tunnel at Upton Park their fans started chanting 'Tum-our boy, Tum-our boy.' Sick bastards. Ever since then I have dispised West Ham.

Sick bastards. Ever since then I have dispised West Ham. Yes they did, when he was at Newcastle. This was after he had the temerity to respond to the Toon Army asking him to acknowledge them. What was worse were West Ham fans trying to justify the chants. Disgusting, truly vile.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 That was only a few number of West Ham supporters mind you. Out of most London clubs I actually find their fans a bit more asy to get on with than the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea etc. That Savio lad by the way only cost them around £4.5 million, the £9 million figure is with add ons, how many appearances he makes, sell on clauses etc etc. Apparently he is the next big thing in German football, got player of the tournament at the Euro U-19 championships.
