Edmund Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 I've supported city for over 40 years home and away and believe me I've seen some rubbish... what we did (didn't do) tonight is up there with the worse...I don't care about our 11 naffin points clear...this is the 3rd division ffs! We are a 3rd division club you fool.
Jonezy Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Oldham are sixth in league 1...yes league one!...down to ten!...yes ten men!....with a 39 year old!...yes 39 year old!...striker!....yes striker!...in goal!...yes in goal!...wake up and smell the coffee...ffs! My coffee doesn't smell of panic after one poor game (which we didn't lose, and where we missed a penalty and hit the post).....

The 3rd division is where we belong! We were relegated for a reason. This is our level at the moment, and although it doesn't look as though it will stay that way for any more than a season this kind of attitude annoys me. It is arrogant in the extreme.
He's not bald Posted 7 February 2009 Author Posted 7 February 2009 I thought we matched you all over the park, could maybe should have nicked it! Ref and his assistants were crap..... You won't get any praise from me...you were very very lucky that we were really really awful!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 I've supported city for over 40 years home and away and believe me I've seen some rubbish... what we did (didn't do) tonight is up there with the worse...I don't care about our 11 naffin points clear...this is the 3rd division ffs! And we're in it for a reason. My dad is 58, I watched the match on TV with him, and believe me, he's seen some shit, alot worse than that. So don't give me that "40 years" bullshine.

Glad some people are speaking sense. We gained another point ffs when we prob didn't deserve it.
Finchy Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 We're genuinely worse than Leeds fans, imagine what we'd be like if we were in their position, few suicides judging by some of this.

Absolutely m8! Ive seen some bad tactics but they were shocking and clueless! If some can't even get a penalty on target, that is embarrasing,we should have knocked there door down, shot at every opportunity at 10 men to make fatty windass make a mistake

This is our level at the moment, and although it doesn't look as though it will stay that way for any more than a season this kind of attitude annoys me. It is arrogant in the extreme. And that's exactly where we'll stay if we play like we did tonight for the rest of the season!

So don't give me that "40 years" bullshine. Exactly, can't be as bad as the 4-0 down to bolton in the first half, constant drubbings at highbury and by man utd etc etc
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 And that's exactly where we'll stay if we play like we did tonight for the rest of the season! We've had off days before. A few in fact. However we're still top. By 11 points. Get a grip, please.
coale39 Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 We're genuinely worse than Leeds fans, imagine what we'd be like if we were in their position, few suicides judging by some of this. Yeah, big lynch mobs after the players!
skiptonlatic Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 You won't get any praise from me...you were very very lucky that we were really really awful! Ok......thought you were the lucky ones
barmy76uk Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Exactly, can't be as bad as the 4-0 down to bolton in the first half, constant drubbings at highbury and by man utd etc etc They are better teams than Oldham ffs!
LeeCovFox Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 And that's exactly where we'll stay if we play like we did tonight for the rest of the season! But we won't. We haven't lost in 17 games for Christ's sake. Now after one below par performance we aren't going up? Get a grip.
Guest shearfox Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 We are on a 17 game unbeaten run.... and it seems like we have just gone 17 without a win, chill out.... it was heroic stuff from Oldham today its not going to happen all the time we will be winning again in no time...
Russell352 Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 I can't believe we didnt win 7-0. We're a massive club in a shit division - if we dont win the premiere within 2 seasons I might consider supporting another team.

Edmund Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Like ive said numerous times sometimes these sort of matches can boost performance in the long run. Keeps the players feet firmly on the ground.
coale39 Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Someone put 'idiot juice' in the mains today. Didnt they!?! Who did it!!! Own up!!
LeeCovFox Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Ok......thought you were the lucky ones You came and grabbed a deserved point against the league leaders. Both sides could have won tonight. Neither side were at their best. Ignore those who seem to think our 'big club' status in this league earns us the right to steamroller clubs such as your own. I remember when Oldham were an established top flight side competing for the right to play in cup finals. It is swings and roundabouts. All the best for the rest of the season.
Edmund Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 They are better teams than Oldham ffs! GO AND SUPPORT MAN UNITED
barmy76uk Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Like ive said numerous times sometimes these sort of matches can boost performance in the long run. Keeps the players feet firmly on the ground. That won't boost Fryatt he was shit!

Massive........nearly as big as Leeds, reading some of these topics you would think you were fighting off relegation not umpteen points clear at the TOP of the table!
barmy76uk Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 GO AND SUPPORT MAN UNITED Ive supported Lcfc for 25 years thanks! Never seen such shit! It just goes to show what a piss poor league thisis for us to be top!
