Tilley Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Tottenham vs. Arsenal West Ham vs. Manchester United Come on you Gunners. Hope Arshavin gets a run out.
Ultra Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 I think Spurs will do them. Keane and Pavlyuchenko will tear them to shreds. Also looking forward to seeing Rooney return at Upton Park. But the hammers will score against United and bring Van Der Sar's run of clean sheets to an end.
Tilley Posted 8 February 2009 Author Posted 8 February 2009 I think Spurs will do them. Keane and Pavlyuchenko will tear them to shreds. Unfortuantely I think your right. I can see West Ham causing Man Utd one or two problems too.
Uncle Albert Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Arsenal 2-0. This is another one of them games where most people back the team against Arsenal abit like when Chelsea and Man Utd played them this season and both lost. Nasri and Diaby to score. West Ham 1-1. West Ham will be up for it but Utd are unstoppable at the minute and dont seem like they are going to lose. West Ham have to start really, really well today if they are going to get anything from the game. Come on Carlton Cole, what a player he is. Wasted at West Ham. No Rooney for Man Utd.
Tilley Posted 8 February 2009 Author Posted 8 February 2009 Arsenal 2-0. This is another one of them games where most people back the team against Arsenal abit like when Chelsea and Man Utd played them this season and both lost. Nasri and Diaby to score. Diaby is banned.
Uncle Albert Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Diaby is banned. **** sake. Hmmm if he isnt playing it could be just a tight 1-0 win. Saying that this fixture always has goals. I can't decide. Thank God Mr. Bigshot Bentley isnt playing. What a waste of space he is.
Tevez Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Spurs vs Arsenal Draw - Arshavin last minute if he comes on. United to beat Hammers - Ronaldo brace.
Tilley Posted 8 February 2009 Author Posted 8 February 2009 Spurs vs Arsenal Draw - Arshavin last minute if he comes on. Be quality if it did happen. Can see Aaron Lennon playing well.
StanSP Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Hoping for Arsenal and West Ham wins please. Van Persie will come good today again, as he has done so against other big clubs. I want West Ham to win, but I can't see it happening. They may hold out, but Man Utd will probably dominate second half. Berbatov, Vidic and Tevez to score
Tommeh Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Can certainly see potential in the Arse - Spuds game this combined with a long lie in and no game this morning I Might even make it to 30 mins until I nod off....

StanSP Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Why buy a player after all that fuss, is match fit, and could change the team, and then put him on the bench?? I don't get it
Tilley Posted 8 February 2009 Author Posted 8 February 2009 Why buy a player after all that fuss, is match fit, and could change the team, and then put him on the bench??I don't get it Because he isn't match fit? He hasn't played a competetive game since November?
purpleronnie Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Why buy a player after all that fuss, is match fit, and could change the team, and then put him on the bench??I don't get it I think wenger said he wasnt ready for such an intense game so soon.
StanSP Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Because he isn't match fit?He hasn't played a competetive game since November? Fair enough. Didn't know that. Thought he played regularly for Zenit.
Asha Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Fair enough. Didn't know that. Thought he played regularly for Zenit. He does, but they have a winter break in Russia.
Salieri Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Want to have a double on the games this afternoon but can't make me mind up which way either of the games are gonna go! What does everyone reckon? (i know this really should be in the betting thread btw ) My judgement has been terrible recently so thought i'd gauge opinion....
Tilley Posted 8 February 2009 Author Posted 8 February 2009 Fair enough. Didn't know that. Thought he played regularly for Zenit. Their season ends in November I think, haven't got too much knowledge on Russian football, but I'm sure their season ends around then.

Samilktray Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 I had a hard on when I saw Arshy warming up.
