Father Ted Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Eboue. What a guy! This is one of the reason's I have him on the back of my Ivory Coast shirt. Comedy value. Modric surprised me today because for once I actually rated the lad. Tracked back very well and is pretty strong. Palacios was a beast aswell probably the best player on the pitch with William Gallas. Both didnt put a foot wrong. West Ham should feel abit unlucky, Ferdinand and especially Vidic were both a different class. Why Ronaldo was forced to stay on the left wing I will never know. Behrami was very good aswell. When Savio came on I seen nothing that warrented his high price. Anyone else? I really do not understand the signing of Savio. Could well turn out in disaster for West Ham, especially being in financial trouble and then paying so much for an unknown from Serie B. They've also got Carlton Cole, Di Michele, Sears and Tristan already there, surely an alternative cheaper option as back-up would have been wiser.
DB11 Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 How come we have a 'Super Sunday' thread every bleedin Sunday? Can't there just be one thread for all Sunday games?
Tommeh Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 How come we have a 'Super Sunday' thread every bleedin Sunday? Can't there just be one thread for all Sunday games? I'm creating next weeks and calling it "Shite overrated bollocks Sunday" 3 games in 2 days and 1 goal. Congrats Sky, hope it continues.

Uncle Albert Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Whens the next Grand Slam Sunday? Always a decent watch.
Tommeh Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 I'll give it you. i honestly didn't know City - Boro was on, SS2 per chance? Still 0.5 goals a game, pretty poor viewing.
Bert Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 I'll give it you. i honestly didn't know City - Boro was on, SS2 per chance?Still 0.5 goals a game, pretty poor viewing. Didn't watch it myself. Led to believe it was on SS1 though.
Samilktray Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Man City was SS1. Wasnt a bad match in truth.
Bert Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Man City was SS1.Wasnt a bad match in truth. Er yes it was. It was on sky sports ffs.
Tommeh Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Er yes it was. It was on sky sports ffs. Nicely done. Up until this season I used to love watching the footy live but this...I Just think it's just gone too far, messing around with KO times, fooking off fans like making WBA go to Fulham for 1pm on a sunday etc. and for what I can see no good reason. My main gripe with the game these days is the money, and I know these Foreign Billianaires dont help but Sky are the ones who started it all, the money they've pumped in these last 15 years is ridiculous.

Its not just this season though they have pissed about with kick off time's, they have done this for the last few seasons. There has usually been a 13:00 kick off and a 16:00. Its good that Sky and Setanta are showing alot of these games, it gives alot of fans that arent as well off as other the oppourtunity to go down to the pub and watch the game instead of forking out shed loads of money to go to the game.

You're not a proper fan though if you go down the pub to watch the game.

Corky Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 It was better in the early days, when there were two matches on- the Super Sunday at 4 and the Monday Night football. It meant that there was no saturation, and people were left wanting more if they were good matches. Now, with up to 4 matches on per weekend, it just gets boring.
Staf Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Leeds v Milwall should be a good game hopefully for sky. Hopefully Leeds will win never thought i would say that but they are not as big threat as Milwall in my opinion.
Uncle Albert Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Now, with up to 4 matches on per weekend, it just gets boring. How can it get boring? Being able to watch live games from the best League in the world. Should be thankful that you can watch it.
Tevez Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 It's about time Blackpool got a decent viewing on Sky.
lildave3 Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 Why mate? Because I love football. Registering to that site will make me hate everything
