Yes it's absolutely ludicrous, I'm not Logan's biggest fan but surely we should have been forced to go with him rather than get Warner in.

But he isn't ready to try him just yet, which I have no arguments with. Also believe that NP wanted someone who is of a high standard just as Martin was, which is why Stockdale and Bunn were brought in, who are more experience and are more trusted than Pentney.
