syston_fox Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Is anyone else finding them to be stupidly slow at the moment? It took well over an hour to download the new system update and ive just got to download a new update for a game which is saying will take two hours for 345mb. It's never normally this slow to do anything!
Matt Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 It's always been slow for me, Alot of people seemed to get updates downloaded much quicker than me, Personally the most recent update and download (Fifa - Ultimate Team) has been no slower than usual for me, but as I said it have always been slow in my experience anyway - Probably took 45 minutes ish to download the update today which is nothing unusual.
syston_fox Posted 2 April 2009 Author Posted 2 April 2009 For me the usual system update takes around 20 minutes with any game updates being done in anything from 5 minutes to 15. Never had one go on for 2 hours before!!
fox123 Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Yes, I nipped on to have a quick game of fifa and it starts to update, I started it around 8:50 its on 30% at the mo. fooking winding me up.
Libertine Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Used to take aaaaaaaaaages for me, but a lot quicker since I started using our own connection.
syston_fox Posted 2 April 2009 Author Posted 2 April 2009 didn't take me long, done in 5 minutes <_< Took about 5 minutes. <_<
Fox92 Posted 3 April 2009 Posted 3 April 2009 Honestly it took me from 17.45 untill about 18.55 to get one complete. I really do dislike them.
Mikey Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 didn't take me long, done in 5 minutes Same. The text chat thing seems quite handy.
Legend_in_blue Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 There's a new update? Blimey, it's been so long since mine was switched on, it'll probably need two of these by now. It's really dull in the gaming world at the mo. (Unless you have SF4 on 360 )
