davieG Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 For those who didn't see us fook it up and anyone who wants to find out who to blame you know where to look
AmericanScott Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Thanks for putting the highlights up once again. I still feel very upset we let that equaliser in. I won 2 quid from a bet though...

Guest Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Dobie outjumped both Kisnorbo and Brown. Poor. I could outjump Kisnobbo.
StanSP Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Well done to Dyer for providing the crosses. ALthough I think the first one was scuffed. Poor defending for 2nd goal though
Thracian Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Confirms Kingy's role in the second and also nice to see Gradel having a little hand in the first. As for the second the closing down was too casual and when the the cross came in Brown impeded Kisnorbo as he looked well set to win the ball. There should have been a call but Brown had no chance of climbing high enough. Two men going for the same ball is a basic error and exactly what you get when you play people who are unfamiliar with each other's play. Warner's effort to save was distinctly unimpressive.
Vardinhio Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Never have been impressed with Warner, seems to make too many hollywood dives rather than stepping across and then making it comfortably...
Guest Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Warner. Never have been impressed with Warner, seems to make too many hollywood dives rather than stepping across and then making it comfortably... Agree. I would hope Nige has the sense to see how much of a liability he can be. For every one of the wonderous saves ( i use the word in it's loosest sense ) he makes, there's a couple of really baffling decisions. I think I've seen him come pegging it out of his area unnecessarily on 4 occasions now. I'm hoping Stockdale's in for the next game. Any news on when Martin's back?
MC Prussian Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I remember the FIFA 09 commentary by Martin Tyler (or was it Andy Gray?) about goalkeepers in general which basically says that in order to be a keeper, you have to be a real nutter. Warner. (Cobbo, no offense - there's always exceptions to the rule) I want a good, safe and reliable goalkeeper for next season. It's now on my 2009/2010 wishlist.
