Can't be arsed to argue really, but just tell me, who'd be the happier if it ended as a draw? Us in first place on 87 points, or you in fifth eleven points behind us?
Ford Super Sunday Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 Yeah I am looking forward it to.. my Dad is going to only his 2nd home game of the season, becuase he has to work on Saturdays now. So thats my reasoning Is it our cup final? nah... We've played too many Finals, 92,93,94,96,97,99,00... this is just a league game Maybe it would have been a more pressure match if we lost yesterday, but we didnt. Enjoy the day

Rocky Dennis Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 B And both Question for ya: Are you a member of the WACCOE forum, because the reputation of Leeds fans being arrogant, deluded twats is hardly contradicted on there? I work in Leeds and find most fans to be decent people, but seriously, that forum is populated by fooking tossers!! Your obsession with what a 'massive' club you are seriously holds you back, when did you win your last major trophy? Ours was 2000.. It seems to me that Leeds' arrogance is based on some league dominance 30 odd years ago and a Europen cup you didnt even bloody win!! Hilarious.

Nah, they banned me, waiting on a couple of new accounts I registered to be validated We won the foul play league last season- much more prestigious than the Worthington Cup And for the record - WE ARE CHAMPIONS, CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE! We're not arrogant though!

Ken Bates doesn't approve of that sort of thing Not to worry, the old pissbag is showing signs of a mild stroke- hopefully his number has been called and he won't see out the year
Dirty Leeds Posted 12 April 2009 Author Posted 12 April 2009 Cup final? Yes Great signature by the way. Any news on the new album?
Jimmy Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 only 1 team in this shithole of a division qualifies as our season "Cup Final" and that is the mighty Cheltenham
Matt Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 Cup final? And they had a thread on WANKO about us not even selling out, and comparing it to the game at Bellend Road - Surely that says more about them. i.e - The fact that when we played them I believe their attendance rose by a fair few thousand, and now we haven't quite sold out, perhaps because we're not actually that bothered about them. Attendance will rise for tomorrows game, and it's such a big game because 1) It's a game that if we win we're all but promoted, 2) People want to be jumping on the bandwagon, 3) Some/Probably alot of twats will come out of the woodwork, e.t.c.
Daggers Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 We have consistently been the fittest team in this league - and playing so soon after yesterday that will count for a huge amount, especially as a number of Leeds players are now looking lethargic and prone to niggling injuries. It will be passionate, hard-fought but we will win this. I have no doubt.

MC Prussian Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 I'm somewhat honoured by the amount of affection we're getting from Leeds fans ahead of tomorrow's game. Cup final? Have a laugh. I once made a comparison of home gates between the two clubs and with all the Tuesday evening kick-offs that we've had, our average gate has per se been lower. Plus, look at the potential fanbase for both clubs and by all accounts, Yorkshire wins - more people living in the same area means automatically more potential fans and it's no miracle to fill Elland Road on a regular basis. BUT, still... our average home gate percentage-wise has been higher than Leeds' so far, which means our fans are much more faithful and loyal (and not just because of the league position we're in, although I admit it does help ). Up until Saturday, we've had about 29'000 tickets sold and I can imagine only a few empty seasts comes Monday. Yes, we're playing Leeds. A MASSIVE team, with a MASSIVE history who has won sod all in the past 30 years with deluded fans living solely in the past (according to the gospel of WACCOE). A win would do just nicely for me, although I acknowledge the good work Grayson has done in the past few weeks. This is not going to be a walk in the park. Well, it never was in the first place. However, the result at Hereford should give the lads in blue a big boost for tomorrow and we've got it in our own hands to get one step closer to the promotion threshold and doom Leeds to a pretty playoff race against Millwall et al. Looking forward to this game. Cracking atmosphere, good banter, some sunshine and a nice result to top it all.

Dirty Leeds Posted 12 April 2009 Author Posted 12 April 2009 And that's it? Yup. When was the last time you won the league?
Brilliant White Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 My god you lot go on so much about waccoe on this board it unreal!! You are defo jealous of that board you can see it in every post that mentions it. Let me just put one thing straight, Leicester will probably be promoted this season, that a given, but don't forget that you have to survive the C/ship then, you were relegated last season cos you were too shite stay up then, what makes you think you will survive next season? you haven't really added to your squad from the relegation have you? i will love to see us both promoted and you lot struggle next season, i have never had a problem with your club or your fans, but i can honestly say that since i have been reading your board (less than a week BTW) i have come to the conclusion that you are all twats......... See you tomorrow for your cup final
