James. Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 For people looking to register I would do it soon as last year I had to pay £130 for a "Golden Bond" entry as they were the only ones left. All the money did go to charity but it's still an expense you'd probably rather avoid.

I can't actually register at the moment (not for a month or so at least) for reasons I'd rather not go into on here. If by that time it's over £100 then I definitely can't register.

No qualms from me. I doubt I'll fundraise for this anyway. I did last year and also have that stupid mountain in my avatar to climb in February so don't want to take the piss with the requests for cash.

All this because the online entry form won't accept my card because the issue number is 0 and the race director didn't get back to me

I may not be running it as it falls on the only week my girlfriend and I are free to go trekking in the Atlas Mountains as part of our preparation for Kilimanjaro. As such I may have to pull out. Not confirmed yet (will know by Friday) but if I do then you can take my place.

I'm heading off for some random training course for hazardous environments now over that day and the next so I'm gonna have to decline the offer. Anybody else want to take the place?
Monk Posted 17 August 2009 Author Posted 17 August 2009 So who on FT is still running this? I am hoping to but will make a call on it in a few weeks. I had pneumonia a month ago so training has been non existent until last week. 3 miles felt like an ironman race.
