jimmy7587 Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Hello all I am 21, 22 in May. and im thinking of becoming a season ticket holder. but there is a big step from under 22s to adults price wise. so, do i qualify for an under22 ticket? If not, would i get away with it if i bought the under 22s anyway?! Jimmy

jimmy7587 Posted 17 April 2009 Author Posted 17 April 2009 i have an inkling that i will have to pay adults, but i was wondering what the worst repercussion would be if i did purchase an under 22 season ticket. i am 22, and... under. technically!
SamL Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 I believe that you can only qualify for an Under 22's Season Ticket if you're Under 22 as of 1st September 2009.
Craig Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Well this season i was 22 in November, and was allowed an under 22 season ticket
Guest Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 I believe that you can only qualify for an Under 22's Season Ticket if you're Under 22 as of 1st September 2009. Correct. This applies for all age concessions.
Matt Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 No, sorry. I was in the same situation. I knew I didn't have leg to stand on really but I did bring up the argument in the ticket office - Because I renewed before the mid-march deadline I was saying well hang on you want my money guarenteed by mid-march so by doing this i'm helping you out and giving you money up front, despite being 22 by the time the season starts I am giving you the money now before the deadline when I am currently only 21. However you say you are thinking of becoming a season ticket holding so maybe not a couple of years of you date of birth when you buy one? -You don't need to give ID do you?
act smiley Posted 18 April 2009 Posted 18 April 2009 I believe that you can only qualify for an Under 22's Season Ticket if you're Under 22 as of 1st September 2009. Taking the piss, that. I mean, surely it should be from the first day of the season? I was thinking of getting an U22 season ticket, even though I'd probably only be able to make half the home games, but at full price thanks to 48 chuffing hours? No chance.
