I think it's great that it's getting people to take some notice of the heavyweight division again!

A proper fight for once! i think (and hope) Haye will do it! :chant:

No its not, the only thing that would get some notice for the heavyweight divison again is if the Klitschko's agreed to fight each other, which is never gonna happen.

Cant see this fight lasting about more than 4/5 rounds before Hayes is knocked out

Haye just wants to sell tickets for what might be his only attempt on the heavyweight world title, it's just a circus.

Spot on

I used to be Hayes biggest fan back in the early days. He used to amaze me with his skills and awesome power. But in the past 6 month or so I've gone off him and won't be bothered if he loses this fight. He seems to be an arrogant tit now and how he treated that last guy he fought was crap. Hayes team set him up in a crappy room and never looked after him properly (unless what I saw was false info).

2 great fights to look forward to that month with Haye and Khan both having shots at titles.

But May 2nd is the big one, canna wait

Im still baffled by how its crossed a line.

Its boxing, not some pussy sport.

:dunno: Then if Haye wants to entertain cocky kids then I suppose he's done the job.

There's a good article up on the BBC, though, that makes a very good point. It's Haye's extravagance and arrogance that will make it a blockbuster sell-out no matter what the result, not Klitschko's charm.

Yes he has.

Sport could do with more characters like this guy.

Meh. I might have agreed with you three or four years ago but to be honest I'd just rather the bloke shut up and got on with it.

A bit of pre-fight banter is great to whip up a bit of interest but it speaks massive volumes about Haye that he has to go to such extremes of controversy to generate interest in his fights.

I dare say were he that good there'd be less of a need.

I hope it's a tactic to get Klitschko to open up a bit, if it's a lame attempt to entertain or be some kind of bad boy it falls wide of the mark for me.

I did like him and thought he seemed a good bloke, albeit a bit of a show of. I don't think he comes out of this very well at all, unless like I say it's an attempt to wind him up and get him swinging. Leaving a few holes in his defence to take advantage of with his speed.

He's always been arrogant. It's what makes me like him :giggle:

All the best sportsmen are arrogant. :P

I agree, I don't mind a bit of arrogance, Ali was the best ever with his mouth. But Haye doesn't seem to have any humour to go with it.
