djkieranj Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 Admittedly there are some people who are a bit too militant about their following of the city and see it as some sort of status, but most people are just proud that they've been following the city even when at their lowest ebb, and are a little aggrieved that the people that almost disowned this club a year ago will happily wander down as if they've never been away. Surely you can understand that even if you don't agree with it? i don't understand the point of giving fellow supporters grief , its just not good for the club ! we should be encouraging them to attend more games not slating them for coming to as many games as they can. I've never found this attitude towards fellow fans in the pub or elsewhere, just on this forum and 606. i say tomorrow we cheer and celebrate together, and this might encourage a few 'part-timers' to get a season ticket , buy a shirt etc... its all good....

It's more than likely that a lot have got down to games regularly or as much as they can- there will be some that haven't and this is their "game of the season" because they couldn't be bothered beforehand.
