Guest Mee-9 Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 I agree, Whats happened? There goal difference says it all tbh, most of the other sides have -20 and northampton have -4 i think. They beat us n all
Ultra Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 I agree, Whats happened? There goal difference says it all tbh, most of the other sides have -20 and northampton have -4 i think. They beat us n all Erm, I think you'll find that they drew 0-0 at the Way and lost 2-1 at their place. Although I'm sure they'd have celebrated the draw as if it was a win.
Koke Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 They didn't look relegation threatened 5-6 weeks ago. They must have gone into an unnoticed freefall lately.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Oh yeah , my bad, was 0-0 , i remember it was a bad match for us.
Bert Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Oh yeah , my bad, was 0-0 , i remember it was a bad match for us. Fryatt missed a one-on-one.
Brainy Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Some Leeds fans are pathetic.. "BIBI NORTHAMPTON DOWN TO LEAGUE TWO YOU GO!!!!!!!1 \o/ \o/" What the ****?
lou Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Im honestly surprised at them going down... didnt think they were in the worst 4 teams Ive seen this season by a long shot. Mind you a lot of people said the same thing about us last season!
Corky Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 I thought Carlisle would go at the start of the day. Very surprised to see Northampton fall.
Tilley Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Had to be two of four, unfortunately for Crewe & Northampton, it was them. Saying that, Northampton aren't one of the worst sides I've seen this year.

weluv Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 funny thin was they found out a goal had been scored at Brighton, so started singing 'we are staying up' only to find out it was Brighton who'd scored. And they threw their teddies out the pram when the 'Northampton Whites' banner was unfurled in the South Stand. Apparently this justifies Huddersfield fans graffit-ing our Bremner memorial, because we're up the road.
MarkDeVries Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Oh yeah , my bad, was 0-0 , i remember it was a bad match for us. Bloody hell it felt like a loss. Im more annoyed Luton went down. 30 point deduction was sickening
Guest Bilo Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Northampton's relegation was completely unexpected, they must have had one hell of a collapse since January when they looked distinctly mid-table. A shame really, their fans were pretty good when they came to our place and their team certainly didn't look like relegation material. Best of luck to 'em next season, hope they come straight back up with Chelts.
