Why was the reserves shut down? Is it coming back? We need it.

We were in the reserve Premiership (I think) but then they restricted it to current Prem teams only, so now we'd have to register in the Pontins league or whatever.

Some thing like that, obviously someone with more knowledge of the reserves can explain better.

I heard a rumour from a completely made up source that he does not like the cold weather.

Ashley Chambers' penis is going to join Bournemouth and partner Billy Kee upfront. I heard this from a very well known source. Their name was Tomato.

(Oh when will NP sign someone!)

But when did you last watch him?

And while on the subject when did anyone last see Billy McKay?

His contract is up next month and he just seems to have disappeared off the scene without a wave.

Even Wikipaedia seems to have no information beyond the period when he returned to Leicester after a loan spell at Hinckley United.

I seem to remember him being mentioned as playing the odd game for our reserves. Perhaps Knowitall can update us.

Billy along with others was told he could leave the club at the end of the season back in March. As far as I remember he is going back to hinckley. He has left the club though

He's already signed two players and the playoffs haven't even been played!!! If we're only signing six players, I'd like them to be spread out a bit so we have a little bit of pre-season excitement :P

There is a reserve league - HERE

I believe we were in a reserve league, may have been the Central league, and we were also in the Premier Reserve League at one point but the bottom line is that to save costs, we decided not to have a reserve league. I think this decison was taken before Milan came in but I could be wrong.

I think it would be a good idea to have one if we maintain a large squad but otherwise, we have a good youth league and with there being many midweek games next season I can't see the benefits for having a reserve team. Some players would get a game but at the same time if we can't in terms of cost then its not worth it! The present situation is that if we have players then a training match can be organised which I think is better for the club at the moment.

Exactly. The guy is clearly an excellent judge of a player's ability and would have watched him day in, day out in training. Playing backseat manager and moaning about youngsters not being given a chance if fair enough when we're stuck with some clueless disabled in charge but people have got to be on a wind up questioning Pearson's judgement from a couple of reserve team matches they've seen or whatever.

That's true to an extent but we have seen in the past that managers do seem to be obligated to play certain players regardless of their form or ability. Case in point Andy King last season when a few messageboard members did raise the issue of his ommission only to have immediate impact when introduced this season. I think it is a fair question to ask why he couldn't feature in a single game properly - even as a reward or incentive for the current youth players.

Well, Leicester won the league - two games left. I understand that S****horpe was a show-off event, so you got maintain the first team, but Crewe was like a friendly. Could of easily haad Kee on the bench, and given him something like 5 minutes. Could've given Ajdarevic a start to try and find out if he can play.

Not saying Pearson didn't do the right, but there were options. When Man Utd win the league, they let the youth team out for a game?

I would rather play Chambers than Dickov

That said Dickov isn't a bad impact player for the last 10-15 mins & his experience around the team for a few of the younger ones must surely be good?

I'd like to see Chambers go on loan to a L1 club next season just to give him the opportunity to show what he can do. He's been unlucky with injuries but if he can get through a season unscathed playing regular, competitive football he could come back and break into the first team like Gradel. Worst case scenario would be that he continues to suffer serious injuries like Wesolowski has.

Anyone think he'll be given more of a chance next season? I've watched him in a few reserve games, and looks to have some real quality. I think he's better than Hayles, and offers more threat than Dickov.

You idiot.Nobody is better than Bazza. Close it.
