Most improved City player: Max Gradel (his defensive qualities have improved dramatically). Best permanent signing: Alexander Tunchev (but Dyer was close). Best loan signing: Davies. Best three City goals 08-09 1) Kingy v. S****horpe (sublime). 2) Gradel v MK Dons (Vital, brilliantly executed goal and a boost for the lad himself) 3) Howard v Leeds (Ordinary goal but so important. I knew we were up then). Best home performance: 1-0 v Leeds (Professional performance when it mattered so much). Best away performance: 4-0 v. Cheltenham and 4-0 v Walsall (The sort of football I'd love to se us play more often) Worst home performance: 0-0 against Brighton (turgid shit) Worst away performance: 0-2 against Tranmere (unforgiveable all round) Away trip of the season: 2-2 at Hartlepool (got there 8am and had a cracking day out) Worst away trip: Tranmere.
