Most disappointing City player: I expected him to be anyway, so wasn't really any surprise and people know my views on him - Paul Dickov. Most improved City player: Gilbert, early in the season I didn't rate him, but he really came on and I hope we sign him now. Best permanent signing: Lloyd Dyer. Best loan signing: Jack Hobbs. Best three City goals 08-09 1) Stevie Howard v Leeds - Just because that game, goal, win, IMO promoted us, and the celebrations! 2) Max Gradel v MK Dons - Great freekick, meant alot, and again the celebrations were crazy! 3) Matt Oakley v Hereford - Great freekick. Mattock has not been as bad as some make out but his career has stalled a bit this season. Most improved City player: Matty Fryatt Best permanent signing: Aleksander Tunchev Best loan signing: Jack Hobbs Best three City goals 08-09 1) King v Stevenage 2) Oakley v Cheltenham 3) Oakley v Hereford There's probably better but I can't think.
