I always liked Ranierei. Was brilliant watching his post match interviews after he eventually learned English.

Now I don't really follow Italian Football but as far as I can see Juventus are currently with 2 games left sitting in 3rd place in the league with a guaranteed champions league place so where does this deserved, bad season thing come from is it really that bad to finish 3rd in the league? or even 4th and still qualify for the champions league

No surprise, he's completely lost the dressing room. The clubs a bit of a shambles at the moment. When you get Buffon coming out from the changing rooms onto the pitch and basically saying to the fans that he can't take much more something's got to give.

Exactly, I was reading about this the other day and its no surprise at all like you say, there are too many egos and no control what so ever.

I heard that Lippi may return after the World Cup next year but I wonder who they will get in - hopefully someone with more control. Also heard that Cannavaro has gone back but not sure if thats been made official yet though. Would be a good capture if so - he hasn't performed well @ Real but reckon he will be back to his best with Juve to finish his career off!

It is no surprise at all. My girlfriends dad was delighted yesterday about the news as were many Juve fans. He really did lose the dressing room and Juve have been very poor towards the end of the season. He started well and Juve had a solid first season back in the CL, let's be honest they should have dumped Chelsea out.

But as Alex said, when you get top players like Buffon coming out (not in the gay form) like he did then you know something is going wrong. It is rumoured that Spalletti will take the job at Juve, we shall see.

Didn't James Richardson say recently that the Spalletti rumour has died down a bit? I think I heard it on last Thursday's podcast. I haven't listened to yesterday's yet so it could have changed!

Apparently so. But they have resurfaced on Italian T.V this morning. Well so I was told by my missus who really wants to see Spalletti get the nod.
